I have been hesitant to spend the high dollar amounts that these backpacking sleeping pads command but now that I have this one, I can say that they are worth it! All around this is sleeping pad is awesome.First, the size and weight is perfect for those that are looking to shave weight. Rolled up tight this is maybe about an inch wider and taller than a regular soda can. For this lightweight and compact profile, you get a full length 5" thick sleeping pad. so you aren't having to make any concessions on comfort while out there.The best feature is that the inflation bags that have become almost a standard on high end inflatable pads is now built into the stuff sack. It didn't quite make sense when I looked at the packaging but when I opened it up it all made sense. I was able to inflate this sleeping pad with just about five full bags. All this while using Bernoulli's principle to use one breath to get a bag full of air. Not only does this prevent hyperventilation, this also eliminates putting very humid air into the sleeping pad that can cause mold and mildew.After I have this one I am wanting to upgrade all of the sleeping pad for the family. It is pricy, but it just does the job so well. I am sold!

If you're considering higher-end insulated sleeping pads, this is a good one. It has a decent R-value of 4.1, which is enough for 3-season camping. It's both comfortable, and packs incredibly small (by comparison to my neo xtherm), and it comes with a fill-sack that also works with their branded pillows (not included).The included fill-sack is well-designed and isn't cumbersome to use at all. It didn't take long to fill the mattress using just the sack--please don't blow into it with your breath unless you want mold inside! I did hook the sack to my sea-to-summit pillow, and it filled that right up as well! Hooray for compatibility. Deflation is simple, and you can just roll the air out... no need for a powered deflator in this case. The pump-sack also doubles as the carrying bag (when turned inside-out), and it folds down SMALL! This is great for packing small and camping. Do note that the unfilled mat will measure about 3"-4" longer on either side until you fill with air. The measurement chart is for filled pads only.This is the most well thought-out and designed sleeping bag pad I've ever used. I'd highly recommend it, if price isn't an issue.

This sleeping mat is pretty light weight and very comfortable. It took a while to inflate and honestly I'm confused by the pumpsack (why can't you just blow it up with your mouth?). You have to fill the pump sack with your mouth anyway, so it seems like a useless extra step. Thankfully the pumpsack is the stuff sack so it doesn't add that much extra weight. I definitely got light headed while inflating this but that is part for the course with these types of sleeping pads.the fabric is smooth and slippery so I expect my pillow to slide all over the place but the smoothness will be helpful for me because I turn a lot in my sleep. The mat is very comfortable. I am 5'3" and the length suits me although I wish it were a sm8dge wider. If you are sharing a backpacking tent with someone, the narrow mat will come in handy, so you can actually fit in the tent side by side, but if you are camping solo, a wider mat can be more comfy. I also like the specialized calve that holds in air if you are inflating or releases air when you are deflating. The calve is very handy. Plus the 4.1 R rating will keep you warm in cold weather or cool on hot ground.

I shopped around for a sleeping pad like this for quite a while. I don't do a ton of backpacking, so I didn't necessarily need something this small, but it will certainly make things easier when those kinds of trips happen. The inflation system works well enough, and repacking it is fairly simple. I sleep well, and though its pretty thin, it suits its purpose super well.
