This sleeping pad is on the highest order of quality and function. When it arrived, I was utterly blown away by just how compact this pad is - think a standard Nalgene bottle, or roughly the size of a quart of milk or small loaf of bread, this thing is light and compact. As a backpacker, I value compactness, but not at the expense of utility and function - this pad had little in the way of compromises, it is comfortable and the included bag pump is impressive in its ability to inflate the pad in perhaps 3-4 partial “bag fulls” of air. It stows away to be half the size of my 15yr old Therm-a-Rest, and is less than half its weight while offering greater thickness and comfort while sleeping.I’m impressed with the quality, and have nothing but great things to say about Sea to Summit as a brand, I am a happy owner of several compression bags and waterproof bags from them, and they make some high quality kit that competes with the five star names you might be familiar with in the backcountry hiking and outdoor recreation space. Bravo! I’ll be back for another soon enough!

Not that I really care when I'm sleeping on it at night but the sleeping pad is a pretty color in person. Mostly, I just love how easy it is to set up, and how little of space it takes up in my backpack.

Another quality product from Sea to Summit! I would give it more stars if I could. This Sea to Summit Ether Light XR Insulated Sleeping Pad is well made from high quality materials. The pumpsack is a great feature to inflate the pad. I love the fact it is three season rated, as we hike and camp right up to the edges of winter, both the beginning and the end. Comfort is so important when out in the middle of nowhere, having hiked all day. This sleeping pad is going to be a luxury come hiking season!
