Das ist eine wunderbare Erfindung, die so klein ist, dass man sie auf jeden Fall mitnehmen sollte, wenn man mehrere Tage in der Natur unterwegs ist. Drei Wochen in den australischen Alpen wurde ich von Fliegen aufgefressen (natürlich nicht, aber sie sitzen überall und nerven einfach). Dieses Netz wirkt Wunder. Es kann auch bei einer schnellen Abfahrt mit dem Rad die Augen vor Insekten schützen.

This net is small and light, great for Mosquitoes, but should not be used in Scotland's West Coast or Highlands as the holes are too large. I found the Highlander Micro Headnet ideal for both mosquito and midge with holes like stockings.

Das Netz passt zwar über einen breitkrempigen Hut, jedoch liegt das Netz unangenehm am Gesicht an und reicht auch nicht weit herunter, sodass Mücken wahrscheinlich von unten ins Netz hereinfliegen.Insgesamt hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es sich um ein Produkt in Kindergröße handelt.Es kommt in einem kleinen Aufbewahrungsbeutel - an sich praktisch, jedoch habe ich es nicht geschafft, das Netz wieder in diesen hinein zu quetschen.

For me this was too small and lightweight. Without a hat it stuck to my face. With a hat it was too small so there was no way of controlling insects coming up from below. If I managed to tie it in it then came too close to the face. I understand the desire to make it lightweight but it needs some way to make it stand out and yet be tied down. I returned it.

Incredibly lightweight and see through net, I look forward to trying it on my hat next summer, my previous net was just too heavy (and thick) to see through easily.

This headnet was the best I came across during my trip to Australia. It functioned perfectly in keeping off the flies and mosquitoes as well as maintaining clear vision since the net is so fine. I received many admiring comments from passers by who were constantly flapping their hands as fans to keep off the insects!
