Better of without the flimsy tags but if they are going to put them on, they should be reinforced like 20x

First time using these overshoes, very impressed. In -1 degrees kept feet really warm.and dry. BUT. Second time e of using them the tag on the left zip came off but still managed to zip it up. On returning home was unable to remove the zip. Nothing jammed under the zip to prevent it from releasing but still wouldn't move. Managed to affix small pair of mole grips to remove the zip but still wouldn't budge. So was left unable remove without having to cut them off. Also the toe stiching started to come away.From such a good impression I was left totally deflated from the second time on they became totally useless. I bought these as a Christmas present for my partner they weren't cheap I'm really unhappy and won't be buying them again

When I read that this new model was slightly taller, I thought "great!" But the extra height brings the top up to my calf muscle, so I can't zip it up fully without unduly compressing the calf. NBD: I just zip up to just below that and use the velcro strap at the top to hold everything in position. Great waterproofing, keeps me reasonably warm and sweaty in temps down to the upper 30's without having to resort to wool socks, and the open sole makes it easy(ish) to get into.
