This reel amazed me as to how good it preformed recently , it’s at the bottom end price wise but is way better on performance .

Does what it says on the tin. For fly fishing you don't need an expensive reel - it only holds the lineMatched with a WT# 7/8 rod it balances very well

Die Rolle ist für den Preis ganz ok. Ich finde sie jedoch zu leicht für die Shakespeare 11 Fuss 7 Rute. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal die 7/8 Rolle vorziehen.

Great reel and spare spool at a great price. My only issue initially was that absolutely no paperwork ie instructions, blow up parts diagram, spare parts list etc was included in supply box. I contacted Shakespaere re this and learned that such papers are not currently included but was offered an electronic version if required. This contact was very helpful re item. This issue (now fully resolved in my mind) does not detract from the quality of the reel and spool.
