Be careful with this lens hood! I have placed the lens hood in storage mode and it is stuck on. We have to dremel it in half to get it off. Be careful with purchasing and if you do make sure that you dont twist your fingers off. Really sad

I find it very difficult to mount/dismount this hood. It is the recommended hood for my lens but feels very tight, so I just leave it on the lens, not always ideal when packing it away or trying to put the lens cap in place.

My original unit wasn't fitting anymore, I bought this unit as a replacement, and it didn't surprise me too much, as it fits normally and I expected it to fit more firmly into the lens, but it's better now than before, at least now it doesn't keep falling.

Este es el parasol adecuado para el Sigma 24-70 mm HSM 2,8. En la web de Sigma hay un error y pone otro parasol.

Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto in relazione al prodotto acquistato, ho ricevuto il prodotto con qualche giorno di anticipo rispetto alla consegna prevista, la comunicazione con il venditore è stata efficace e tempestiva visto che ho avuto un piccolo problema con un articolo simile acquistato in precedenza ma che è stato risolto con brillante perfezione dal venditore.La mia valutazione complessiva sul prodotto e sul venditore non poteva essere che eccellente e quindi consiglio senza problemi questo venditore anche per altri prodotti riguardanti il settore fotografico e altri settori merceologici.......

I bought my Sigma 24-70 used so it didnt come with a hood. This one fits/works perfect! No more holding a clipboard or umbrella up to shade my lens.
