Appears to be of good quality but is too small for my solar panel. Make sure you do a better job of measuring than I did.

So I ordered a huge Faraday Bag. I don't really need it for anything--I don't have anything interesting or vital to national security on my phone. I'm not of the opinion that I'll need it for anything any time soon. That said, they've always interested me so I figured I'd take this one for a spin.The bag looks and feels *extremely* well made. I was surprised at how heavy it is. It's heavier than my snowboard bag with *two* snowboards and a bunch of other gear inside. I was pleased with this component of the bag so I moved to the next task based on what everyone else seems to do when they get a Faraday Bag--test it. I'm not sure whether this is done to confirm that it works, or to fuel paranoia by convincing yourself that it *doesn't* work after doing some simple and not particularly scientific tests.I wanted to try to do it at least somewhat right. In addition to the usual 'DIY' tests I called a friend of mine who is in the computer security field. Actually, that makes him sound like he works at a big box electronics store installing unnecessary apps on computers owned by the clueless. This guy is one of the top people in the field and really knows his stuff. He gave me some suggestions to supplement the basic tests.I was relieved but not particularly surprised to find out that the bag works just fine. He pointed out several interesting things. For example, Faraday bags are most susceptible to near field signals which is why the 'Bluetooth test' sometimes fails under casual testing circumstances. In his opinion, this isn't a big deal since if someone was trying to compromise your sensitive data via Bluetooth that a) they're a rank amateur and b) they'd pretty much have to be right next to you and you'd (hopefully) notice them. He concluded by saying that 'anyone who *really* needs a Faraday bag has the resources to test it to make sure it works and doesn't have to do it himself.' That said, he was confident that I was in good shape should some nefarious splinter cell try to access the contents of my cellphone--my collection of travel apps, animal memes and streaming music playlists.I could probably get by with a smaller sized bag but this way I have room for more equipment should it be necessary. A well made and effective bag. Highly recommended!

This bad is made very well and it has excellent craftsmanship. I’ve tried a few different test with some decent results. It’s supposed to block out but it don’t always work so I’m not really sold on that part! It’s very high end quality. I can’t stress that enough but for what I thought I understood about what this product is supposed to do? I’ll do some more testing and I’ll update. Personally I think the price is a little on the high end!!
