Perfect fit. Protects the speaker to some extent, but not like a hardshell case. What it does do is turns the JBL 5 Charge into a mini boombox! The handle makes it a lot easier to tote outside or room to room. Don't really plan on using the strap, but to some it may be a nice extra. I have a hardshell case on order to protect the speaker when traveling. Hoping that the case accomodates this silicon cover because I sure don't want to take it off. This is a great add-on to an excellent speaker!

Fits well and is very comfortable! Non-slip silicone protects the ends of the speaker well!
