I bought this because I read someone had an old wooden ironing board, as do I.I don't do a lot of ironing but I love my old wooden board for sewing projects. It holds the heat better than metal.I also saw the photo of the Deep Nose on this cover. Perfect!Those 2 things made all the difference for me in purchasing.My wooden board is about 48" long, 13/34" wide and 3/4" thick.Seeing how long this cover is, I had some room at the flat end which is not an issue for me.This new one fit around the width of my board better than the worn out cover.The material is a tiny bit coarse so not sure how long it will last.2 Velcro Straps are a bonus and should keep it in place along with the elastic. Nothing slides under the board for set up so the straps don't interfere for me.The padding isn't really that thick but not super thin. I can't recall how thick the description indicates but the felted material inside is nicer than sponge.In the end, I decided to place it over my old worn out cover.

El producto es de muy buena calidad pero el tamaño no es el adecuado, se deben hacer varios dobleces y eso complica el planchado.
