Very nice tablet holder. All aluminum. Fits a iPad air5 comfortably in horizontal position. Cold shoe attachment connects easily. Though I don’t have attachments for it so can’t speak to it versatility but it is also aluminum and sturdy. I have a case that is thin but book style. With the case folded behind it doesn’t really fit in the holder. Thankfully it’s attached by magenta so really easy to take off. That is probably the only draw back. However when I’m using iPad it will be for a period of time. Not putting in and out like a phone. It’s easy to put in. Bottom clasp releases the slide adjustment and top screw lets you tighten it down. Very happy with it

This all-metal, precisely machined phone and tablet holder is quite secure once the device is tripod mounted with its standard 1/4 twenty screw (familiar to photographers). There are two tensioners top and bottom; one is a sliding bar with a clutch, the other is a long vertical screw with a knurled adjustment knob that affords lots of tightening power.The one drawback (as you can see in the photo) is that, even at full extension, an iPad will not fit in a vertical orientation.

I received this through Amazon Vine, in exchange for an honest review. This is a solid ipad cage and great for those using their ipads for meetings and presentations. This is not for someone wishing to use their ipad as a field monitor or viewer for their camera. Unlike my current cage, this does not allow for additional items such as a camera to be attached to the top, its a great holder for the ipad alone or an ipad, light and microphone. If that is your need than this is a great fit for you.

£28 at time of reviewThis is a well designed and well thought out mount, plus it’s all metal too, so the build quality is superb… I already have a mount for my iPad, which works well and has some pro’s over this one, but this have other pro’s so I think this one will permanently replace my other one. The integrated ARCA plate for me is ideal and ALL of my tripods etc are conform to the ARCA standard, yet it also has a 1/4 thread so can be attached to any tripod.The adjustment mechanism has a nice amount of tension, and being able to lock it into place securely is a nice touch too. I like the idea that the additional plate with the 2 cold shoes is removable, as personally I will likely never use it, but it’s good to have, although in the photos the light and mic are on the wrong way, but as they are simply cold shoes, you can mount whatever you want on there and point them in whatever direction you want too, although personally I would prefer they were cold shoes that had a solid end, but this is a minor thing, and as I mentioned, I’m unlike to ever use it, as I generally use may iPad as a field monitor in the studioHope my review was helpful
