Love these mats!! My doggie tends to go potty at the corners of the disposable pee pads. (I have no idea why.) These mats have slightly elevated edges that keep the urine from going over the edges of the potty pads. I wish I would have found these mats years ago. I highly recommend them.

My dog pees on the edge of the potty pad and it drives me crazy to clean up, plus I worry about the floor absorbing the smell. I first tried an expensive dog bathroom (looks like a big litterbox) but my dog refused to use it because it was too different. I put this mat down as soon as I got it, and my dog used it right away! No coaching necessary. I can’t speak to whether it’s durable or if it absorbs odors, but so far it’s easy to wipe and my dog actually uses it so it’s a win in my book.

The rubber mat works great in combination with the puppy pad. Our 16 year old dog now needs puppy pads. The puppy pads alone on our hard wood floors are slippery and our dog has slipped a couple times while trying to relieve himself. These rubber mats not only keep the puppy pads from sliding on the floors but also keeps the urine contained within its raised berm edging. I bought 3 total after seeing how well the first one worked to place in each area of the home where he roams to protect our flooring. These rubber mats are excellent for pet owners who cannot let their dogs out while at work or live in an apartment. Our older dog never had accidents in the home until recently. We love our pooch and want him to roam freely around areas of the home without damaging our floors or getting injured from slipping.
