Sleepypod Atom ist eine moderne Transporttasche für den täglichen modernen Lifestyle, geprägt durch das innovative Design und die Funktionalität, die die Sleepypod Produkte ausmachen. Der Sleepypod Atom ist die kleinere Größe des mehrfach ausgezeichneten Sleepypod Air. Er entspricht den meisten Vorschriften der Fluggesellschaften zum Transport von Tieren. Das obere, dunklere, robuste Gitterteil lässt sich mittels Reißverschluss leicht öffnen und ermöglicht ein einfaches Handling mit dem Tier. Große Seitentaschen bieten Stauraum für das nötige Equipment des Tieres auf Reisen. Mit Gurten an beiden Enden kann der Sleepypod Atom sicher auf dem Autositz befestigt werden. The Sleepypod Atom pet carrier has been a total win for my picky Chihuahua. He usually isn’t a fan of carriers or bags, but this one? He loves it! The soft, cozy interior makes it his go-to napping spot, which is a small miracle. He sleeps so well on the soft floor. Its expensive, but its worth it.It’s light, airline-approved (so far we tried it with Air Serbia, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, and KLM), and the vibrant colours look great without being over the top. We’ve taken multiple international flights with no issues—everything fits perfectly, and it’s easy to carry.If you have a dog who’s not a fan of carriers, give this one a shot. My old 10 year doggie couldn’t be happier!

The Sleepypod has a very good quality and is very safe and stable, but a couple of features could be really much better. For example, it is not possible to remove the shoulder strap (something that I cannot use at all and would really love to remove!) It is also quite difficult to partially open the mesh cover if the pet is inside the Sleepypod, because it will only open to the inside. Besides, if you want to partially open the pod and let the pet stretch its legs or head outside the bag, it is not possible either, since the lower part is completely closed. To be honest, I have expected much more for the price.

Used it on the airplane. My cat needed to stay several hours in there in she really enjoyed it. I really like it, how easy it is to get my cat in there. Much more preferred then a box

Habe die Tasche für meinen Chihuahua gekauft, da wir oft unterwegs sind und er einen Rückzugsort haben soll + für den Transport im Flugzeug. Alles in einem bin ich sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung und das Material sind sehr hochwertig und stabil, die Tasche hält sehr gut ihre Form und ist durch die vielen Seitentaschen sehr praktisch für den Alltag, da wirklich die ganzen benötigtne Hundesachen gut hineinpassen. Der Hund fühlt sich sehr wohl darin und hat mehr als genügend Platz. Auch der Transport im Auto auf dem Beifahrersitz und Fußraum ist praktisch und komfortabel, sowohl für den Hund als auch für mich. Die integrierte kurze Leine, die das herausspringen verhindert hat eine optimale Länge.Der Griff ist gut gepolstert und verstärkt, so dass sich die Tasche sehr angenehm tragen lässt.Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Laschen. Diese werden beim Umklappen durch einen Klettverschluss oben in der Tasche befestigt. Leider lösen sich diese immer wieder und fallen dem Hund so auf den Kopf.Beim Schuster habe ich mir einen Druckknopf direkt unter dem Griff setzen lassen und das Problem ist somit behoben.Wünschenswert wäre für mich, wenn die Tasche kleine Füße hätte, damit sie besser auf jedem, vielleicht auch nicht sehr sauberen Untergrund abgestellt werden kann und eine Möglichkeit, den langen Tragegurt abzuschnallen.

The carrier is very well made. We have first used it to bring our kittens home from the reader. One of them was so relaxed when I opened the carrier at home, that it took him a couple of moments to realise that he was in a different home. I have left it in the corner so they get accustomed to it, and they loved playing with it (so no hurt feelings!). Since then they have grown quite a bit so we got a second one!Also, they are super easy to clean!

I am a huge fan of Sleepypod because they are one of the few manufacturers that actually crash-test their products! I already owned a Sleepypod Air and bought a Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed for my mom's dog. Getting this one was just a no-brainer for my 4 lb Chihuahua to travel in - she loves going into the carrier even if we're not headed anywhere. Because my mom wanted a lighter carrier than the Mobile Pet Bed, she stole this one so I just purchased a second one. My Siamese cat also travels in this occasionally. Sleepypod products may be pricey but there is no price for peace of mind.

Great carrier, but VERY small. Our cat is 4 kg and it’s too small. In the description it says up to 5,5, but that’s not true.I’m quite angry, I’ll have to pay for the return. Amazon only refunds part of it. That’s not okay, when the description is wrong.

I bought the Sleepypod Atom a while back, but am writing this review because it just passed the most important test. I used my Atom to fly my cat from Texas to California.I had no issues with the airline, or with security. In fact getting the cat out and back in when I walked through security was surprisingly easy.The carrier fit underneath the seat in front of my perfectly. I used the privacy screen on one side and then positioned the other side so she could look up at my throughout the flight.After I landed I had to carry her around in it for a while and the over the shoulder strap was perfect.The only thing I will caution people about is that this is a very small carrier. My cat is very small even though she's full grown. She fit very comfortably in this carrier and had enough room to lay down and to turn around. However, a bigger cat might easily be pretty cramped in it.Last great thing about this is that it stores flat very nicely!
