This shredder attachment for the stand mixer came in handy. It helped save so much time and energy when shredding the cheese for the Thanksgiving mac & cheese! 😋

Interesting design. These are actually 2 plates that attach to a special cylinder. The few times we have used this it works, but it is different. Only time will tell if they are as good as dedicated cylinders.

When i first open the package, I actually wanted to return because it looks complicated. I do own another set of shredding attachment from Kitchenaid brand, so I expected something similar. Luckily, there is a manual guide on how to use it . However, i am completely sold after my first truing making waffle fries. I used sweet purple potatoes instead of regular potatoes. The result is amazing. Those fries are crunchy like chips. My only complain that the chute is small, so you have to cut the potato in small pieces. However, i thinks it works fine. This set brings more values because it has 5 different blades instead of 4 like others. I love my waffle crunchy fries, so i will keep it. If you like the veggies chips, i highly to recommend tou to invest this one. The chips are just like store boughr. Very thin and crunchy.
