This rechargeable bike light comes safely boxed with accessories for mounting and charging. It didn't take me long to charge it and is has been performing very well, with the light only requiring infrequent charging presumably due to the intelligent sensor that recognises when the bike is moving. With such a large display screen there are quite a few fun display settings which can be cycled through as well as more standard lighting. Build quality seems very good, there's rubber waterproofing for the ports. I found the light easy to mount and the small size and low weight are very convenient. I'm very happy with this bike light.

Ce feu arrière avec LED (100 lumens), rechargeable de 550 mAh (via câble USB-C fourni) est facile à installer (notamment avec la sangle en silicone).Un appui long (de 3 secondes) sur le bouton principal permet d’allumer cette lampe LED, dotée de 13 modes flash. J’ai choisi le mode de lumière constamment rouge qui me convenait le plus, et en éteignant la lampe (appui long de 3 secondes), ce mode sélectionné est enregistré, ce qui est pratique de le retrouver lors de la prochaine utilisation.Ce feu arrière est imperméable (IPX4), certifié avec les labels CE et RoHS, et peut servir à loger un airtag pour géolocaliser le vélo.Une alternative intéressante pour ceux, qui en ont besoin (pour économiser la batterie ou pour la sécurité) est le mode intelligent, accessible tout simplement en allumant avec un appui court sur le bouton principal (pour l’éteindre : appui long de 3 secondes).Doté d’un détecteur de mouvement et d’un capteur de lumière, le feu s'éteint automatiquement (seulement en mode intelligent) lorsque le vélo (ou équivalent) se déplace (ou pas) dans un environnement lumineux, après un laps de temps de 30 secondes ou bien lorsqu'il ne détecte aucun mouvement dans un environnement sombre après 180 secondes. Dès que le vélo se déplace dans une zone à nouveau sombre ou qu’il est à nouveau en mouvement, la lumière s'allume automatiquement. De même, lorsque le vélo (en déplacement) freine : le LED affiche un court instant la lumière rouge au maximum pour signaler le freinage du vélo, ce mode est surtout visible, si toutefois un mode créatif bicolore (motif de lumière en rouge et jaune) a été préalablement choisi.Ce mode intelligent est bien pratique. Dommage que la notice d’emploi soit illisible (majoritairement en chinois, avec quelques lignes en anglais). Un mode d’emploi, lisible et compréhensible en français est normalement obligatoire pour la vente d’objet sur le marché français !

[UPDATE] - After just a few months of use, the light now is dead - won't even charge at all. Completely unresponsive, and no user serviceable parts like battery etc.This light is a mini miracle! I remember as a kid having a rear light that was literally the size and weight of a beer can, with batteries that lasted a couple of hours - or worse if you forgot to turn them off!This mini miracle lasts for ages (My best so far is a whole week of constant daily rides with no recharging). This is partly due to the fact it automatically goes on/ off depending on whether your bike is in use or not. Smart!It's easy to charge via USB C, and there's a built-in airtag hole.The light mounts either with a post strap, or via an underseat clamp - either way the mount to the light is via a standard quarter turn lock (a bit like the sort on Garmin computers, for instance).The light is really well made. It's waterproof, and totally self contained.Now for the fun part! There's not just a red light in play here - the unit has a load of designs that are displayed on the LED matrix - so you get not only red light, but amber and patterns too (see the description and pictures!).Overall, this is a brilliant product, well conceived, and well executed. Top marks for safety and innovation.
