Leuchtkraft sehr gut. Das einzige Manko ist der Umschaltknopf. Im Dunkeln weiß man nicht wo man gerade hinschaltet. Man muss dann auf Verdacht durchprobieren.

The police light is a good touch.Sounds great but don't work in practice:1. The physical dial is not very secure and switches inside a bag or pocket. Please add a notch so turning the dial has some resistance.2. Having the light turn on when you switch the dial- very very bad idea. Please change immediately! I mean it it will change in your bag and suddenly you find you don't have battery power, or you've now woken someone up trying to get to red light. Common guys this is a flunk but it can be fixed. Just make sure the light stays off when switching. Add a lowlight led to the dial to see what mode your in. Massive fix at little to no cost.3. The charge light is really bright when you turn the flashlight on, yes it goes away and is placed to the side(better than the IF23) yet if you are in need of the light you will notice how you may get blinded by the green light.4. Please add a physical difference between the 4 sides of the dial, a grove unique to each side would work. This will allow someone to identify the dial mode/rotation in the dark without needing illumination.Reason the IF23 is better:1. Access all settings with a single button.2. Water resistant.3. Bright, and I mean BRIGHT. Both white outputs are 5,000 degree K which means daylight and/or high CRI. (Color rendering Index) I'm a comm tech and a high CRI light makes ID'ing fiber-optic cable colors easy. 6,500 K (bluish) or 3,500 K (yellowish) lights skews colors too much, such as CAT 5 cables etc., hard to tell between green and blue) The side light means no carrying a diffuser because it's a broad flood. The RGB is good for camping as some colors don't attract insects light white. I carry mine in a Nite-Ize Pock-its belt pack, and it fits nicely. A quarter turn of the battery cap fully locks it out. The cap is a magnet, so you can stick it anywhere there's metal. (Equipment rack, under a truck hood, etc.) Quality built, all aluminum. The control ring and button setup is an easy and intuitive interface. Battery is 18650 so charging can be either the built in type C (THANK YOU Sofirn for that, no stupid micro-USB!) or dropping it or a spare in a smart charger.

works great until it doesnt. will not resist water ingress but can be fixed by drying in rice overnight. learned that the hard way during first week of use. after a few months the switch got finnicky and then stopped working. mine made it about 5 months before the RGB stopped working, 6 months until the white flood stopped working. now this light is a battery charger and backup for me. all in all its a great light IF you can treat it gingerly. be sure to superglue the clip to the body. if you want to intend to use your light hard daily and nightly keep looking.

I gave this product 5 stars because I graded on the curve.All other color-changing flashlights are even more disappointing than this one.What disappointed me about this product?(1)After turning this flashlight off and then turning it back on, it doesn't return you to what you had been doing with it. Instead, it returns you to where they want you to start for that particular mode. You might need to double-click the main button several times and waste 40 seconds of time before you can return back to what you were doing and might always want to be doing.(2)Turning the rotary (circular wheel) switch is inconvenient but it's necessary for whenever switching from white-only forward light to white-only side lights to colorful-only side lights. You will eventually choose to stay at just one of these three modes so that you won't need to turn the rotary switch again.(3)You will never get the solid, rectangular side lighting that you see in all of the demonstration videos. That's caused by an optical illusion associated with the video camera while filming. What you will get are three separate rows of tiny LEDs. The middle row of tiny LEDs is for colors only, never white. The two side rows of tiny LEDs is for white light only.(4)The charge indicator is disappointing too. A blinking red LED indicates less than 10% charged. A solid red LED indicates 10% to 50% charged. A solid green LED indicates 51% to 100% charged. In other words, you can't know whether this flashlight is 100% charged or only 51% charged. I need to keep guessing my charge level.(5)The instructions don't explain how to use the two tiny black rubber rings or the large wrist band that is provided as accessories. Apparently, some people might want to hang this flashlight on their arm or on a string or chain.ADVANTAGES:Comments for the Sofirn IF23 were negative, claiming that it gets too hot during recharging. One comment even claimed that the Sofirn IF23 starts smoking during recharging. Don't worry about this on the Sofirn IF24. My Sofirn IF24 doesn't even get slightly warm during a long, successful recharging. It's as cold as a steel bar outdoors at midnight. Not much risk of a battery fire.

Ich habe hier drei der verfügbaren IF Lampen vorliegen: also IF23, IF23 Pro und die IF24 Pro. Gesucht wurde ein EDC-Licht für die Engelbert-Strauß Montur, wenn ich auf unserem Hof unterwegs bin. Fokus lag dabei auf einem guten Seitenlicht.Die IF24 Pro hat aus meiner Sicht - und natürlich geht es da um meinen Anwendungsfall - das beste Gesamtpaket. Gefolgt von der originalen IF23 und dann der IF23 Pro.Haupt-LED:Von allen IF Lampen hat diese hier den definiertesten Spot und stellt den größten Kontrast zum Seitenlicht dar. Auch die Lichtfarbe ist die angenehmste von allen. Soweit objektiv. Subjektiv sieht es so aus, dass ich auf unserem 5000qm Hof öfter mal ans andere Ende leuchten muss, wenn ich was höre oder meine zu sehen, oder wenn ich ein entlaufenes Huhn suche. Das kann nur diese hier. Auch Spazierengehen ist hiermit viel entspannter. Die theoretischen Reichweiten der IF23 und IF23Pro bringen in der Praxis nichts, weil diese so flutig sind, dass das Umfeld so diffus erhellt wird und das Auge nicht weit blicken kann. Die Haupt-LED ist übrigens eine SFT40 - sie sorgt dafür, dass der Reflektor nicht so monströs sein muss wie bei der IF23 Pro, und man trotzdem im mittleren Modus weiter sieht als mit den "größeren" im High Modus.Seitenlicht Weiß: Hier ist das Licht der neuen IF23 Pro überlegen (gerade auch wegen des Tint-Rampings. Das der IF24 Pro reicht aber bei weitem aus, um auch mit mehreren Personen nachts arbeiten zu können. Es ist auf einer Stufe mit originalen IF23.Seitenlicht RGB: Zahlen mal beiseite gelassen - die IF24 Pro hat das intensivste (rote) Licht. Punkt. Wenn man die IF23 und IF23 Pro daneben hält, sieht man, dass deren RGB-Licht ausgewaschen ist. Das mag bei der IF23Pro auf dem Papier zu mehr Lumen führen, doch die IF24Pro scheint heller und ist auch weiter entfernt als rotes Warnlicht erkennbar ist.Bedienung: Hier ist die IF24 Pro (für mich) leider die schlechteste. Das neue Wählrad finde ich eh doof, da man mit den Handschuhen (die man halt dann anhat, wenn die Tage kurz und dunkel sind) schwer bedienen kann. Die IF24 Pro hat dann noch im Vergleich zur IF23 Pro ein fummeligeres Rad, das zum einen an der Lampe schleift, und zum anderen nicht so satt in die Positionen einrastet wie die IF23 Pro.Hier kommt auch der eine Stern Abzug zustande. Was mir noch aufgefallen ist: wenn andere Tools mit Magnet in die nähe des Wählschalters kommen, geht die Lampe einfach an, wenn sie aus ist, oder es geht einfach eine andere LED an als gerade an ist. Das ist bei den anderen IFs nicht der Fall.Clip und Magnet: Für eine EDC Lampe ein wichtiges Kriterium. Hier hat die IF24 Pro den schlechtesten Clip. Er ist ohne Grund kürzer, ist deutlich schwächer in der Federkraft, und hat auch keine bidirektionale Aufnahme, was nur die IF23 hat, hier aber mehr Sinn machen würde. Der Clip hält meine Lampe aber in der Engelbert Strauss Workwear - fühlt sich nur nicht Bombenfest an. Der Magnet ist ok, die Lampe fällt bei starken Erschütterungen aber egal wo ab.Größe und Gewicht: Ganz klares Plus der IF24 Pro! Die Breite ist übrigens nahezu gleich bei allen Lampen. Also die Größe, die dann in der Tasche "dick" aufträgt. Von dem her spürt man alle IF Lampen in etwa gleich. Und alle sind in Ordnung in der Tasche. Doch die IF23 hat einfach 25% weniger Gewicht und liegt auch am besten in der Hand.Zur Powerbank Funktion sage ich nichts, da das nicht relevant für mich ist, wenn ich die Lampe eh nur auf unserem Hof trage.Also: wer ernsthaftes arbeiten will mit der Lampe und danach noch eine Gassirunde durch den Wald machen möchte, ist mit der IF24Pro am besten bedient. Die EDC Konkurrenz (einige davon habe ich) wie Arkfeld und Co. hat halt einfach kein Seitenlicht. Und wenn doch, dann ist das zu schwach oder unpraktikabel. Siehe Trustfire X3 Mini.
