This is my second WiFi/bluetooth water controller. The first was hands down the worst experience possible. Let’s start with the quality. The unit is solid with no loose play with the battery door or the female hose fitting. The seal on the door is great and I have no fears leaving this in standing water if I had too. The shape of the water in is easy to get a grip on. The only possible change to this would be a metal adapter.Setting up the unit took less than 30 seconds. I already had the SmartApp so the moment I plugged in the WIFI hub it appeared and connected. Once the batteries are placed in the water controller it went into pair mode. It connected to the app and hub in under 20 seconds. This process was so easy and had no fusing around to make sure my WiFi was 2.4 GHz or not. That alone make this the unit to buy.The app for controlling the unit is easy to use and setup with the Rain delay being its best function.Overall: easy to use, great cost for dual control, great quality.

DOESN'T WORK! ALWAYS TIMES OUT OR CONSISTENTLY HAVE TO UNPLUG AND ADAPTOR. IPFSYRD ON JULY 1ST 2024. WOLL BE RETURNING.So far I'll admit it's less than what I expected. I received it yesterday, June 27th 2024, and almost immediately installed it. The first thing that I've noticed is that the little plug in adapter is the heart of everything and even though it's continuously plugged in, it seems like when I'm ready to turn this sprinkler on and off just playing with the system. It's always timing out and it forces me to either go press the button on the adapter or just unplug it and plug it back in. So it's not as easy as some of the other products on the market where there's a continuous connection to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which I haven't figured out exactly which one this thing is supposed to be using. Since the directions are kind of vague, I'm gonna keep it for a couple of weeks to see how things work out. Re-read the directions and playing around with it. Worst case scenario I'll be returning it..

This was easy to set up and worked great. I wish the hose would’ve lasted a little longer, but I purchased to go with it to water our plants, but the timer itself is excellent.

I setup the spray schedule to spray every X minutes for X seconds... it doesnt work, no matter what settings i did. I even reinstalled the application.
