This lights up the pool beautifully! I do not like it as much for a chlorine floater. Upon opening, I did have to assemble the cylinder that holds the chlorine tablets and it isn't as thick and sturdy as what Im used to. For that reason, I"ve never added chlorine to it. We already had tablets in our old one and the kids wanted to light up the pool. As far as value, I'd say the lively lights still make it worth the price though Im sure you could just purchase the floating lights without the chlorine holder. The top which includes the solar panel and the light are well made, and easy to use with an on/off switch. It floats all the time and is never submerged.

This solar floater light chlorine dispenser works good, it is nice to turn it on during the evening while enjoying the pool during summer time and having extra chlorine tablet dispenser is very convenient.The only one bad thing with this light is that the remote does not work, at least the one i received, so we have to turn it on by hand which is kind of annoying specially if wanting to change colors.
