Good set of solar powered lights that can also be charged via USB (no cable supplied). The lights are a very good length at 10 metres long. Also comes with a remote control that can be used to set the lights to the mode required.

Really nicely made lights and super long length. Comes with a solar and USB power pack so you have plenty of options with powering them. Great value for 10m of solar lights.

I am very happy with this solar light string. It was easy to unpack, I didn't even need to read the instructions as the process of putting it together was pretty self-explanatory. Once all components were installed I gave the solar unit a boost by plugging it for an hour. I then took it to the garden where I installed the whole thing. The fact it is water resistant is amazing and that means I'll get a brighter garden even in winter. The light itself has several modes and offers an amazing variety. Each little bulb has dual colours, white and warm yellow, making the light even more versatile. It comes with a remote control that allows to control brightness, all the countless modes, and to turn the light on/off.The solar panel is big enough to get good energy throughout the day and keep the light going throughout the night.

This is a nice, attractive, set of lights that would brighten up any suitably-sited garden path (making sure that the lights have good exposure to the sun!). They seem to be well made, and I particularly like the fact that they are both solar powered and USB-chargeable (although no charging cable is supplied). I can’t, however, comment on their durability because I’ve only just started using them.

These Solarcentre Elan outdoor fairy lights are very much like Christmas tree lights, very pretty. They are very small lights on a long green lead and they have 11 different lighting modes, with a typical range of flashing and still light options, including cool, warm or daylight colours. They would probably look best hung around a tree or trellis to make a pretty grotto effect. The instructions advise that you should fully charge the battery before using the lights, in order to help the battery life, so I took the easy option and charged it quickly via the USB C port. I can now use solar charging to keep it topped up. The solar panel has an on/off switch (which only works at night or if the solar panel is covered), a mode button (the various flashing options) and the USB C charging port. The remote control offers in addition the dimming control and the timer control. You are advised not to leave the solar panel where light may fall on it at night as it will still believe it to be daytime, however you could alternatively just put a cover over it as necessary to fool it. The solar panel can be hung up or slotted onto the tiny post provided. You are also warned that the battery might need replacing after 8 to 12 months of use. Some mention is made of an AA battery but the battery inside is actually a 3.7V 1200Mah 18650 battery (see photo), lithium we assume. We have put some Vaseline on the terminals to help avoid corrosion and it would probably have been a good idea to put an extra seal around the unit at the same time to keep it fully waterproof.
