Having purchased several diesel heaters over the years I was interested in this one as it had the upgraded controller. Fitting for me was easy as I already had the holes drilled out for the pipes from my previous heater.Once up and running I set the controller on my preferred setting, 20 degrees celcious, and monitored the controller to see what happens. As it got to 2 degrees over my set temperature 30 seconds later it went into cooling mode then into heat mode which monitors the temperature in my van every second untill it goes 2 degrees below my set temperature and starts up again after another 30 seconds. This start up is very quick as it's already in heater mode. I watched it time and time again and it was spot on every time. This is the only Chinese heater I've had that states it does automatic control and actually works. I have had it running 3 nights in a row in my campervan and been toastie warm all the time.Regarding battery consumption.. I've only got a 100 amp lithium battery that I use every day a 600 watt oven, 700 watt electric kettle, 12v TV and a thermostat controlled cooler box which is running all the time. Also charging my phone and various other things. My battery has only ever gone down to 70 percent which is quickly charged up with my 40 amp split charger and solar panel. I would say that's really good and would be better if I didn't use the inverter to use the oven.I would recommend as I'm happy I've purchased it and it does what it says it does. Well done to this company for the upgraded controller it really has made a difference.

All fitted in the van but don't know how to work it as I'm not sure if it came with instructions

Used for a few weeks fitted in my camper van. No problems as off yet. Parts are cheap but they work well. Length of ducting hose is short, so consider that when buying. Also don’t rely on the instructions that come with it, they’re useless
