I want to clarify something, that is that a digital camera is new to me, an uknown. ( In my case I bought a second hand Sony DSC P43 )The original memory sticks for this camera are about 52 mm long. The latest more modern memory sticks are about 32 mm long.So to use the latest memory sticks one needs to have the extension adaptor.With my 1st purchase there was no extension adaptor.With my second purchase it included the supply of an extension adaptor.Once you know that you need an extension adaptor, which I was not aware of in the beginning, everything is hunky dorry.Having the possession of an adaptor means for further supply you only need to buy the memory stick at 32 mm long.I hope that clarifies thingsregardsLeslie

OK, but bear in mind if you are using this for a video recorder, it will only give you 15 mins filming time - the 8GB memory stick is a better choice

I have a sony camcorder which takes dv mini tape and also has a duo memory stick in it.Although i have had this product a few years I have only just read the instruction book and discovered that i could have replaced the 14mb card that came with the camera which will take about 10 still photos or a very short video with one that has a maximum memory of 512mb which gives me up 300 still pics or 1.5 hours of video which i can transfer straight onto my laptop with a card reader I purchased the same time. So no need for mini dv tapes any more. brilliant product and at a snip of a price.

Habe den M-Stick schon fast ein Jahr in meiner Sony DCR-PC 330E. Benutze ihn als Speichereinheit für meine Fotos, und bin sehr zufrieden.Kaufempfehlung.

Brauchte eine schnelle Speicherplatzerweiterung für meine SONY Digitalkamera. habt mir mit dem Sony - Memory Stick Pro Duo Speicherkarte (512MB) (inkl. Adapter) von Sony sehr geholfen.Kann die schönsten Urlaubsfotos ohne grosse Umstände damit erst einmal konservieren.Vielen Dank.

Ich habe mir die Karte nur für das PlayStation Portable (Japan-Version) gekauft und sie läuft einwandfrei und spielt Bilder, MP3 und MPEG4-Videos ohne Fehler ab. Die Transferrate der 512 MByte-Karte ist recht zügig, so lag die Leserate knapp unterhalb von 4 MByte/Sekunde, die Schreibrate bei nicht ganz 3 MByte/Sekunde. Getestet wurde das mit dem Lesen und Schreiben von 100 MByte (4x25 MByte Dateien).Somit kann man also den kompletten Karteninhalt in etwas mehr zwei Minuten auslesen oder in etwa drei Minuten beschreiben, bei kleineren Dateien kann es natürlich wegen der Zugriffszeit der einzelnen Files auch länger dauern. Zum Lesen und Schreiben am PC habe ich den Hama Traveldrive 16in1, USB 2.0 Cardreader benutzt, den es ebenfalls bei Amazon für etwa 15 Euro zu kaufen gibt und ohne Probleme unter Windows XP erkannt wird.
