Bleibt also die Frage: Wozu überhaupt? Antwort: Mülltonne.

Treat it as such and you'll get what you're after.Using it for a Black Knight cosplay and it's perfect.

Fantastic sword! He didn’t engage in heavy battle but it sure looked the part and I was happy it was foam construction when he was play fighting with his brother. Great realistic shine, Perfect length for my 5’6” knight. It was packaged & shipped well.

First thoughts: this sword is impressive. It is a kind of hard shell on the blade with foam inside, it is pressed together so it has a ridge around the edges that might pose a problem for small children hitting each other with it...Otherwise... a very nice sword! Beautiful, great size, sturdy and authentic looking!I was a little dispapointed with a place on the guard that had some small chipping on it, but no big deal. Also there was some black where the paint had rubbed off on the underside of the guard (see pictures), also not a big deal for me.

After having done this work to it, I am considering buying another one for myself. I really don't want to hand it off as a Christmas Gift.I play D&D with friends, one of them had a character with a lot of weapons, so this was a good gift for him. The soft foam of the item made it so that it would be difficult to hurt someone with. That being said, the Cross Guard didn't have any support in it. Minor flaw. Some wire put into the cross guard I was able to reattach the broken part. 2019 I gave him the sword as a Christmas gift. For 2020, he let me repair and upgrade it.The Base works as a good starting point for modification. The foam body makes it easy to cut out the areas needed to add other extra parts as needed. Gems in the Cross Guard, Points made out of wood, D20 Dice in the pommel (Center shaft is a FiberGlass Rod. Hot Glued the D20 to it). After the physical Modifications I put Fiber Glass Resin over the entire thing in multiple layers to give it more solidity.Given the size of the Blade, a 1 1/2" PVC Pipe when flattened down via heat gun makes for a good sheath. Sanding and Spray paint with an emblem of choice and it makes for a good upgrade to an original gift. I think the icon I used on the sheath is used elsewhere so its not my design.
