Very pleased with this bulb planting aid. It is very sturdy with nice sharp edges and an easy to grip handle. Enables easy planting of bulbs up to a depth of about 6 inches.

I organised 2 annual community crocus bulb planting events along the Main Street verge in our village, with nearly 3,000 bulbs planted over 2 years. I ended up planting several hundred bulbs myself using this hand bulb planter until I got blisters on my hand from overdoing it . We are fortunate in having a relatively light sandy soil in our area with no stones, and crocus bulbs do not need to go too deep.This planter worked well, the sharp edge cutting through lawn or verge turf fine, then a twist and pull out leaving the hole for the crocus bulb to be dropped in, returning the plug of soil on top which is easily extracted by pulling the handles together. An efficient neat and tidy job well done, and a reasonable value for money tool.I chose a planter that was mid range, fearing that cheaper ones would be too flimsy and not last. It proved to be well up to the job locally, with me planting getting on towards a thousand bulbs with it. Because we were trying to get lots of bulbs in during a short space of time in had an intense use, and my wrist was aching from the push twist and turn action after a couple of hours session. Planting bulbs of various sorts in my own garden at a more leisurely pace this worked well, including larger daffodil bulbs that need to go 6 inches deep. It is still going strong 2 1/2 years after I bought it and has not rusted.My one piece of advice, if you have heavier soil with stones, and are planning on planting lots of bulbs that need to go deeper, to save your back and wrists you might be better going for a foot operated bulb planter with a long wooden handle that will be more robust and durable, and put less fatigue and strain on your hands. But if you have a workable soil with few stones and are planting shallower depth bulbs, and can pace yourself, then this is an ideal tool for the job.

Das Gerät besteht nicht aus rostfreiem Stahl wie auf dem Etikett und in der Produktbeschreibung angepriesen.Rostfreier Stahl ist nicht magnetisch!!Der Preis für das Gerät ist in diesem Fall deutlich zu hoch.Wegen irreführender Angaben gibt es nur einen Stern.

wirkt nicht so billig wie lackierte Produkte.Hat auch gut durchgehalten als ich 200 Tulpenzwiebeln gesetzt habe.

ce plantoir est en inox et n'impose pas de précaution contre la corrosion, l'épaisseur de l'acier me semble une garantie contre les déformations dûes à l'usage.
