Spear & Jackson
Spear & Jackson verkauft seit 1760 Handwerkzeuge und Gartengeräte sowie Werkzeuge für Baugewerbe, Landwirtschaft und Landschaftsbau. Das Unternehmen wurde in der Stadt Sheffield gegründet, die für die Herstellung von Stahl, Besteck und Handwerkzeug berühmt ist und nach mehr als 250 Jahren immer noch unser Zuhause ist.

I love this swoe-style hoe and, for me, this is the one to buy. It is much better than the more expensive Spear and Jackson model which has a shorter handle and a stainless steel head that is wrongly angled (for me). This can be seen from the photo which shows both models with their blades parallel to the ground. However, I have had two of this "Elements" model and both have failed (rusted through) after three years at the weld between the head and the stem that fixes it to the wooden handle. This is in spite of the item having a stamp that clearly gives a ten year guarantee. Perhaps this is because I tend to leave my garden tools outside where they are needed. A check of the S & J website suggests that they are no longer making this style of hoe, which is a pity. It appears that the next one I buy may have to be from Wolf.

Pas aiguisé du tout.Inutilisable en l'état.Bel objet déco.Très long manche assez fin...je suis perplexe.

Not your normal hoe. This has a slightly angled head which makes it so much easier to chop weeds or get right in under them to unearth completely. The length of it is good and I am quite tall, and the handle is comfortable to hold, which is important if weeds love your garden and you need to do a lot of work. It is strong and a great addition to my garden tools

Garantito 10 anni si è rotto al primo uso. Dove il manico entra nell'utensile c'è un perno in acciaio zincato, questo perno rende l'attacco molto debole. Ho chiesto la sostituzione ma il costo per la restituzione è pari all'acquisto di un nuovo prodotto. Nessuno ha risposto al mio reclamo. Che dire, Spear & Jackson hanno chiuso con me.
