Bought these to cut header pins on some PCB work. Didn't think they'd have the hardness to survive - header pins can be really really tough - but these went thru them like butter. I checked the blades after about 40 cuts, using my PCB microscope and they are perfect - zero dents or damage. Surprising since they are only spec'd for soft wire work. And they cut really really flush to the PCB - that was another surprise! Unusually delighted with this purchase! The thinnest material I tested I could cut was a single rolling tobacco paper - which is stupidly super thin, and these actually cut that - amazing!

These angle cutters are completely flat on one side so they can cut things flush to a surface. This is a very handy feature and will help reduce the need to file or sand protrusions. The cutters are not as strong as some of my other ones, but then again these are priced at $15.99 with an additional 10% off which makes them a decent value for what you get. These will be perfect for cutting plastics and copper wire, but I'll leave cutting steel rods to my larger cutters.

No issues here. These snips have a good spring return, retention, and cutting strength. While I’ve only used this for a couple thin model pieces they gave a clean and close cut. I will update this post if these fail unexpectedly, however, as of now I would recommend. Thanks for stopping by hope this helps.

The SPEEDWOX Flush Cutter Side Cutting Pliers are very sharp, well made snips, that can cope with most domestic and crafting demands. The grip is long and provides the right level of leverage for tougher jobs, and the snip head is well machined. If looked after they should last a lifetime of use. Great value.
