Genuine SRAM part, however the washer was missing but using the old one I had was no issue. However if I hadn't had an old washer the item wouldn't have worked correctly, so one star deducted.

I have to say I hate Sram everything and this part has confirmed it even more. In the bike world Sram products look good and that is it. Shimano is better in every single way. People remove their Sram parts to replace with Shimano or Hope or anything but. This design is beyond dumb. You destroy your existing crank cap getting it off or at least mess up the finish as it is super soft aluminum. Then getting it back on you mess up the finish with a new one as even setting your tool on it does enough to ruin the black finish just enough to bother you for paying $20 just for a gold bolt. I wish I never bought this.

Wanted to remove future play and add extra blind to my derailer this fit perfectly and lots of videos show you how to install on a sram gx. Pair this with the gold crank bolt kit and you're set, overall very happy with the purchase.
