I am a bit late with this review but I thought it could be useful anyway. I bought this product at the end of May 2018.I have used StarTech cables for years and I have never had any issue but this time I was very disappointed by the cheap quality of this adapter. My laptop is on a stand and I can't use this adapter because it bends too much and my external monitor goes black intermittently. I used it for a couple weeks and then I got tired of the constant signal loss on the monitor. Other cables and adapters work well. Definitely not worth the 20 Euros price tag. Waste of money.

I'm used to Startech's high quality cables. I'm not sure these are genuine. There are no markings or labels on the product itself, but did come in a Startech (look-a-like) plastic bag.These do not work on a Microsoft Surface Dock.

Works perfectly with 15" MacBook Pro (late 2016) - both USB port and Gigabit NIC - drivers are required for NIC - just need to download from Startech website

simple et rempli parfaitement sa fonction sans alterer la qualite de l'image. La tenue au pc et au cable display port est parfaite

Works with mini DP1.2 and is stable. Only small point, sometimes the connection can be a little loose, but to be honest that's probably more to do with the mini DP port on my PC than the cable? Similar issues with mini-USB and micro-HDMI ports. They're almost a little too small to hold the cable firmly in place.

lo he intentado usar para conectar mi HD6870 con mi monitor dell U3211H como segunto monitor y la pantalla es inutilizable.El monitor parpadea cada pocos segundos ( incluso llega a perder la señal durante 1 o 2 segundos) . He probado con otro adaptador similar que tengo "chino" y funciona perfectamente.Al final he tenido que comprar otro cable.
