While the design is beautiful, I would have preferred this coin to not be painted; some of the great detail is painted on. This leads me to believe that without the paint, it might be rather droll. Also, paint wouldn't allow for me fo carry this in my pocket without the plastic case. I collect nice challenge coins that are not painted and have done well in my pocket over time. The weight and size of the coin are fine and conducive to a challenge coin size but the price for a painted coin will sadly have me return it. Lose the paint and stamp the detail in metal and yiu got yourself a lifetime customer. See my pics. I am deducting 1 star for the paint, 1 for the price, and 1 for the overall disappointment
