The grips are stuck to the rug and stuck to the floor; they do work well but once the adhesive loses tack then they need replacing. Quite good on hard floors.

I have used rug grippers and stickers in the past , some work some don'tThese are different as they have a solid plastic right-angled piece so they fit in each corner of the rug/matComes with instructions which are easy to follow ,One side of the gripper needs to be stuck in the corner of the mat/rug , I found it quite important to try and make the underside of the mat as clean as I could so it would stick well , although the glue on the gripper was pretty strong anyhow.Once you have done all four corners , you can then take the backing off the floor side stickers and then stick them to the floor or like I have done , leave the paper on the sticky bits and just utilise the built in rubber pads which in my case is enough to stop the mat moving aroundBeing that these are made out of hard plastic , they also stop the mat curling up at the edges which is greatI have had these on my inside front door mat for a week and so far so good and the mat hasn't moved eitherReally impressed with these , well made and they seem good quality
