215/75 R16 As you can see, I have the tensioner at the max it will go and the chains are still loose. It's as if I've been sent chains that's are in the wrong size packaging.

Just had a trial fitting just follow instructions 1&2 ignore the rest they are completely WRONG just look at the picture on here and you can’t go wrong. I repeat instructions 3 onwards are complete nonsense! Docked a point for this fact and not used yet so I can’t comment yet on effectiveness in the snow. The seller needs to get a set and try and use the instructions and then tell the supplier to put the correct information in! I find it incredible that companies fail on ensuring the product and instructions match.

It’s a freaking nightmare trying to figure out what chains to buy. So many sizes. Thickness of the steel. Ease of application and getting em off. These were for my VW 4x4 with 235/55 R18 tyres. Solid build with strong steel. Very easy to put on and just as easy to get off. Tried them out last week. I first attempted after a large snow downfall to get out onto the main road from our steep track without them on. As an experiment as blokes do. Soon as I hit about a foot of fresh snow on a steep bit, no go.... reversed down the hill to a flat spot and installed the chains in about 5 mins or less , just on the front wheels. Set off again and my goodness , went up no problem. Excellent traction . I bought 2 sets so with some on the back my feeling is I’ll never be snowed in again. These chains look and feel very strong. I would advise to try putting them on before you actually need them in an emergency situation so you know what your doing. Really pleased with them.

Heute auf einem unglaublich vereistem Parkplatz in der Rhön. Nach kurzer Kontemplation waren die Schneeketten auf dem Womo fix montiert und wir sind entspannt weggefahren. Top.

Ich habe diese Schneeketten diesen Winter für meinen VW Crafter im Einsatz gehabt. Die Montage war gut durchführbar und ist auch für Ungeübte (so wie ich) in 15-20 Minuten zu bewerkstelligen. Mit ein wenig Übung geht es sicher schneller.Die Demontage ist mehr als einfach und in 1-2 Minuten sind die Dinger wieder runter.Beim Fahren auf Schnee und Eis machen die Dinger das was sie sollen: Sie geben zusätzlichen Gripp. Auch im nächsten Winter werden mich diese Schneeketten wieder begleiten.
