I use these 40wt cones of King Tut cotton thread for all my quilting jobs. Less lint, less breakage. It costs a bit more but ever so worth it for quality sewing.

I use Superior Threads King Tut for my longarm quilting. It is practically lint free, doesn't break and makes a very nice stitch.
