This mount is very versatile. It extends without feeling like it's going to fail and provides numerous angles and directions to view from. The locking feature is great for an RV. It was easy to install the mount on the wall of the RV, but actually then petting the TV in place is a little difficult because you have to line up screws and slots and can't really see them. Two people for the job works make it a lot more manageable

Easy to install, like the locking mechanism for traveling and appears to be very sturdy.

I wanted to get my 32" TV off of my dresser and out of the way, so even though my use wasn't for an RV I chose this mount. The hardware looked compatible with my interior wall mounting, and indeed the instructions give directions for mounting directly into wood or solid walls and indicates NOT to use this mount on drywall. The wall I use this mount on is old solid wood, and the mount is secure on the wall.The TV I'm using this mount on is a 2013 Emerson model. The Vesa mount extenders needed to be positioned a little oddly to make them fit on the TV, but they did fit securely on the TV and I found a way to angle them for flush mounting thanks to the multiple holes on the plate and extenders to use.This mount comes with multiple sizes of screws to attach to the TV, drywall anchors, cushions to put between the Vesa plate and the TV, a small spirit level, an extra wall mount plate, and the required manual tools. Each set of parts was in it's own sealed chamber of a long plastic bag and clearly, correctly labelled.A power drill of course makes things go together more quickly, but then again I like having any reason to get out my power drill and the old wood of the wall I mounted this on demands one, the wood is quite tough.There are no extras of the screw sizes though, you only get four of each size. I recommend assembling this mount over an old light sheet to keep dropped screws from getting lost, I did and am glad for it.Installation of this mount was pretty simple, and the instructions are clear and easy to understand. I only needed a second pair of hands to get the TV mounted when it needed to be lifted over 6' up on the wall, I mounted mine high to be better seen through the long bedroom. To more easily install the TV to this mount I decided to assemble the plate fully on the back of the TV along with the outer half of the arm, after taking out the thru-bolt at the middle hinge of the extending arm. There are washers to look out for at the middle hinge section, but it was a far cry easier setting those washers back into place when resetting the thru-bolt than trying to install the three little hex-head screws onto the TV plate mount while someone tried to hold the TV still at 6' up in the air.This mount extends easily, the extending arm operates quite smoothly, and the tilting of the screen is operated by four nuts and bolts where the the Vesa meets the arm. This means that tools will be required to adjust the angle if needed.This mount feels very sturdy and secure all over, and the mount seems to hold strong on my TV. I like the wide range of motion of the arm and how well it flattens against the wall and stays out of the way. I like the low profile appearance of this mount, and how it's unseen when the TV is flat on the wall.This mount locks easily and securely when desired, and the lock requires somewhat assertive pulling to release. This RV trailer mount is excellent for most of your modern TVs with their 200 or 100 x 200 pattern VESA mount. Since modern TVs are so lightweight they are fine on putting on a well supported wall in your camper but have larger hole patterns that may not be supported by what came with your camper. Are 36 inch TV is under 20 pounds but has a 100 x 200 pattern mount and the 100 x 100 didn’t fit. Also, the layout of the TV was not adjustable and didn’t provide good view to the dinetteDismount solves those problems with ease. It is lockable while traveling to keep it from opening and smashing into anything and easily releases with a whole string on the bottom. It is tilt adjustable as well so small sun glare is no problem and easily accommodated by moving it up or down. It’s swivels and adjusts out. It also just swivels while being latched in place a few degrees but offers more adjustability if you unlatch it and then you can turn it.Includes all the screws necessary to mount it to your TV and to your wall. You need to provide a drill and a screwdriver.I’m not using the second mount but nice it comes with it. It doesn’t easily detach from the wall because it doesn’t need an Allen wrench to unscrew the bottom security mount and then loosen the top two bolts to release it from the latch. If you had just one TV and wanted it in and out maybe it would be OK but I’d rather just buy a second TV.

Picked up this TV mount so I could mount a new 40-in smart TV on the wall in my son's room. Installation was very simple, I used a stud finder to mount directly to a stud so I did not have to use the provided drywall anchors. The instructions are easy to read and the hardware comes in labeled bags so you can't mix anything up. The anchors and fasteners appear to be high quality so mounting it to the drywall shouldn't be an issue if you must go that route. But I recommend finding a stud especially for larger TV's. The mount is rated to support 44 lb and my new 40 inch Smart TV only weighs 11 lb so you shouldn't have any issues with these new lightweight TVs just watch the weight if you plan on hanging an large older TV with some weight to it. The locking feature is really nice so I don't have to worry about my son climbing up onto his dresser and trying to adjust the TV by himself. The lock is also a must have if you're installing on an RV or camper so your TV isn't swinging around while you're driving. This kit comes with two separate mounting plates so you can easily move the whole setup to a second location like another room or back porch. This is a great freature if you're using it on an RV and/or only have 1 TV. You can mount the second plate to the outside of your RV so you can put your TV outside underneath your awning with little effort. The mount is also very slim so the TV sits nice and close to the wall when it's in the locked position. This is a decent TV mount for a decent price. Can't go wrong here.
