L’instrument semble de très bonne qualité, robuste, élégant, bonne prise en main, belle richesse de son. Je m’initie toutefois à ce type d’instrument; difficile d’en dire plus pour le moment.

Playing the strange shape was near impossible. Can't use a neck holder. Can't wrap lips easily. And it doesn't tremelo. Sent it back.

I purchased this as a birthday present for my husband after he had read some of it's rave reviews but even though he is only a beginner with the harmonica he really hasn't got on very well with this one at all. So for the time being has reverted back to his Hohner Golden Melody for the time being, he says that he thinks that playing the Pipe Humming with the air coming out of its ends and it's odd shape for a Harmonica would take a bit of getting used to for someone who is learning to play but no doubt a seasoned player would have no problem.

I have only been playing the harmonica for only a few years yet I love to try new harps. It just adds a little fun back into my practicing and playing. When I saw this harmonica being played on a YouTube video I thought, "Wow! I want that." It wasn't just the sound that lured me to buy it but also the unique look of this instrument. I was really surprised at how reasonable the price was for such a specialized product so I ordered it.When it arrived I was even more impressed with it in person. It has a VERY solid feel to it and even though it has a different shape than any other harmonica that I have ever held before it fit in my hands perfectly. In a matter of minutes I was able to produce that kind of 'wa-wa' tremolo effect that took me a long time to learn on my regular The genius of this design is that the reed plates and the comb (the exact same ones used on their Promaster series) are enclosed by the cylindrical cover plate, forcing much of the sound through the ends, making it easy to cover and feather with your hands. This should be a great choice for the folk, country and gospel harp player. Since there are no screws on the exterior of the harmonica I have no idea how you would open it up to repair or replace the reed plates but since they sell them I am certain that it can be done.I have always stuck to Hohner harmonicas and I still like them a lot. However, I am so impressed with this product that I am going to add Suzuki harmonicas to my list of cool harps that I really want. I am sure that I will be buying more soon!Update: 6/17/12 I have been playing around with this harp and have found that if you cover one end and blow in the other it will play all of the notes--both on the draw and the blow--and if you cover the holes with your fingers it is kind of like a backwards flute. Just thought that I would add this.
