it doesnt seem like it should work but it does. we have a 2006 24ve Tige with 700lbs surf side fat sac and 500 lbs offside. This wake shaper made our wake surfable. TAPS trim plate set flat.We set it 2” below the waterline as far back on the hull as possible.once i failed to properly connect one suction cup and it popped off the hull under way. the wave pressure caused the knot in the safety line to give up, and it pulled off the boat. thanks to the fact that it floats and is white, my wife/driver spotted it 100 yards from the boat. I secured a carabiner to it and clipped it to a cleat on the stern and haven’t had a problem since.

Can honestly say that it made little or no difference to the wave on my scarab 255. Tried every possible position but it seems the scarab hull doesn't allow the product to be placed where it needs to be to make a difference

Never usually write a review but I think this litttle wedge deserves a 10 star review! I have a 2004 Rinker 21’ with an outdrive so not exactly a wakesurfing boat but there was just about enough to surf on. Until I added the swell wedge.... suddenly there is an incredible wake, it cleaned up all the white wash and left a decent rideable wave. You can get at least 6m behind the boat and surf it back in and keep shredding. Big big fan and would highly recommend giving it a go!!

Wow.... I wasn't sure that this product would actually work and hadn't seen a lot of other reviews even on the companies website. But honestly this is a game changer if you love surfing. We have a 2002 Mastercraft X-Star. It is a great boat but was never designed to be a "surf boat" So inevitably trying to get the wake perfect for surfing involves moving people around, filling ballast tanks, driving around in circles, moving people around some more etc. Overall a giant hassle and you end up with an okay to mediocre wake for surfing. Simply attaching the swell wakesurf creator to the bottom of you boat on the opposite side you want to surf makes a huge difference. You might have to adjust the Swell either farther forward or back according to your boat. For ours it worked best moving it about 2-3 feet forward from the back of the boat. This not only created a much larger wave but also made it much smoother and easier to ride. My 55 year old dad has never been able to surf without throwing in the rope. That all changed today after trying this out. He surfed farther today without the rope than ever before. Extremely impressive. The only drawback that they can improve on is when you buy this there is no leash/rope to attach this to your boat. Granted the suction cups are extremely strong but I would highly recommend fabricating a leash. Unfortunately this will require a bit of time and effort on the purchasers part. This really should at least be an option when purchasing this. Nonetheless this is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend.
