I bought these for the dog leads I make after someone reported a split ring (stainless steel and flat) ring failed on them (though not how - I fancy it was shut in a car door) and I wasn't willing to take the risk of anyone else's dog potentially getting loose and into danger.These rings fit the bill perfectly and come in surprisingly bright colours that I frequently use - steel, gold, antique brass and gunmetal grey - and all of them are tidily made with a secure, even weld. I liked them so much I used a few of them in some jewellery I was making as a gift for a friend.They're reassuringly heavy - reassuring because you get a lot of "metal" findings now that are just that weird plastic stuff with a metallic coating, but not so these - they're magnetic and absolutely metal all the way through.In fact, I liked the so much I bought the roller buckles in the same 4 colours so I can start making collars to match my leads. :)

Really nice value pack of light duty rings. Perfect for making bags, collars, leashes and more. Colour is very nice and I haven't noticed any peeling so far.These are not welded so take that into consideration.
