Top-Leistung hinsichtlich Schnelligkeit der Lieferung und 1a-Verpacktung, Aufbau und Einsatz innerhalb des selben Tages erfolgt, vorhandene HDDs wurden schnell erkannt bzw. initialisiert. Läuft wie ein Uhrwerk!

Me permet d'étendre mon serveur synology. Attention, c'est très long d'ajouter des disques à un volume ! Prévoir des jours et des jours (14To dans mon cas)

Gekauft, aufgestellt, Festplatten verbaut, mit der DS1522+ verbunden. Wird sofortz erkannt und man wird durch die Erstkonfiguration geführt. Läuft bislang unproblematisch und beherbergt meine VMs und Docker. Super!

This unit is ideal if you have a reasonably modern NAS with not enough drive bays (DS218+ in my case) and need to add bays without wanting to shell our for an entire new NAS. Installation was straightforward, although it came with a Europlug to IEC mains lead - Fortunately I have a stack of UK cables, but something to be aware of.Setup is easy, the parent DiskStation recognised the DX517 as soon as it was powered on. I was particularly pleased to find that I was able to transfer a 4 drive RAID5 array from my old DS413 into the DX517, turn everything back on and have the array and all the shared folders remount on the new hardware, without having to do anything. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend doing this without having a full backup, but it certainly beat having to recreate the array and restore ~10TB of data.Nicely, the DX517 can be configured to hibernate (disks and fans off) when the array volumes are not being used. In my setup the DS218+ runs surveillance station so is always churning, but the main filestore volume on the DX517 is not accessed 24/7, so I expect this will save those drives quite a few hours.Clearly, as this expansion box is about as expensive as a mid-range Synology NAS, a lot of people are probably better off buying an entire new NAS. But it definitely has a use in some situations.

Die externe Einheit wurde an eine Synology DS718+ angeschlossen und konfiguriert, seit dem läuft sie problemlos und leise vor sich hin.

Ajouter a unDS918 + pour stocker quoi ? des lui ISCSI pour mon pc qui n'a plus de disque mécanique interne. du nfs pour le mac.Apres un stockage sur le cloud doit revenir moins cher et est plus sécurisé. je sais pas , mais j'aime les produit synology
