Could not get it to work. No matter how hard i tried (and I tried over the course of several weeks) I could not get the thing to work. Sad, I was so excited.

I was initially going to just put a fountain in a big galvanized tub, but you know how it goes, pretty soon I was buying a stock tank and making a patio pond, stacking and carving delicately balanced rocks, and buying a few solar fountains to try out. This one was really too big for my stock tank, so I stuck it in the round tub and slipped some straws cut to the proper length over the clear rods to help keep it centered (the tub is big enough for it to move around).I've spent far too much time building the waterfall for the patio pond and the solar panels for the other pumps I bought have been hit and miss, with two not working at all anymore and another working when it feels like it, but this fountain in the round tub just works. Even when it's overcast, it still works. It's already running by the time I wake up, even though it's not getting any direct sunlight yet until the late morning, and it runs for at least 3 hours after sunset.The RGB lights can be set to come on automatically when it gets dark enough. My one complaint about this fountain is that they're pinpoint LEDs and not under a diffuser, so they're pretty bright if they're directly visible. I like the way the tub looks from a distance at night, with the glowing and changing colors lighting up the water spray, but if the LEDs are in view they can leave spots on my vision. Booo!!!The hummingbirds have been checking it out already, and I've seen them drinking from the spray and bathing in it by sitting on the branch I placed over the tub. It really does not get better than that.Overall this has been the most reliable out of all of the solar fountains so far, but it's only been a few weeks so I'll come back if there's an update!

I am really enjoying watching this fountain in our bird feeder. I upgraded our other solar fountain since it didn't have lights on it. I will say, you have to have a spot that gets sunshine all day, or it will not work well, if at all. That's understandable since the pump runs all day and lights come on at night. It did come with several attachments to choose from for the type of spray you want for the fountain. It also came with little legs, they look like straws, to attach to it to help keep it from moving around the bird feeder if needed. It has several different colors you can choose from for the night display, they're bright and pretty at night. The remote is a huge help too, so you can change colors from inside the house.

Zwei Tage lief alles wunder bar am Tage sprüht die Fontäne gut und abends mit Licht. Und heute morgen lief garnichts Mehr. Der Filter ist sauber und der Rotor frei und genug Wasser ist auch drin..aber es funktioniert Nichts

This was my first solar fountain so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was easy enough to figure out, the hardest thing is choosing which of the 8 nozzle/tips to put on the fountain which controls the water pattern (we chose the B6 disc nozzle). It started working a couple seconds after putting it in the water. The fountain sprayed strong all day in full sun, and the lights came on at dusk. Running both lights and fountain on high after dusk the big 4000mAh battery only lasted a couple hours, you would get longer use if you turned off the fountain and just left the lights running at night. The remote is very simple and responsive and works from at least 40 feet away. You can turn the fountain spraying off/low/medium/high and change the light brightness. Both are on high in the photo.This item currently isn't listed for use in a pond but that's where we decided to put it. The mini water pump is directly on the bottom of the unit with no protection from debris, so we are floating it inside of a netted plant ring to help keep food and pond debris from clogging the filter as quickly. There's 7 colors to choose from, we opted for solid green. It comes with 4 bumper straws to keep it from getting too close to the edge and squirting water outside of your water feature. This item works well and looks nice. The only thing I would like added in future designs is the ability to change settings via buttons on the unit since many people will eventually lose the remote. The remote comes with a battery installed, a common coin cell CR2025. The solar fountain market has many competitors so be sure to compare prices and features. This little solar fountain is so cute and works great for what I wanted! It comes with a bunch of different nozzles so you can change the spray pattern, and it cycles through seven different colors, which makes it really fun and pretty for the backyard. I actually don’t even use the remote control because I just set it to automatically cycle through the colors, but the remote is a cute feature — I could see it being great if you had it in a pool or a bigger water setup where you wanted more control.Right now, I have it in a little DIY birdbath in a nice sunny spot, and it’s running all the time. It looks adorable, and I love that it’s basically “set it and forget it.” I do have to refill the water often because I live in Colorado and the birdbath dries out quickly in the sun, but that’s not the fountain’s fault — just the dry climate.My only tiny complaint is that it floats around. I had another solar fountain before that came with little braces to hold it in place, and this one doesn’t have that. It kind of just floats wherever it wants, which is probably awesome for a pool or hot tub, but for my little birdbath I wish it would stay put. Still, for how cute and fun it is, I’m super happy with it.
