I purchased a Dell OptiPlex 7070 SSF from Amazon which was delivered overnight and was in good shape. So far it seems like a great system and the Small Form Factor is nice in the office. However, I wanted to add a 2TB HDD to the system. The system had am extra disk power cable but did not come with the 3.5" HDD caddy tray. After a lot of research and searching this item popped up - there were plenty of other options for the other form factors, but the SFF seemed to be a challenge. I ordered it, got it the next day, and was very pleased to see it was an exact fit. In fact it looks like an OEM. There are embossed labels with arrows to indicate direction of install and it was super easy to mount the drive, clip it into place, and hook it up. You do need your own SATA cable, but I had a bunch laying around. The quality is good and was a great find.

This was a matter of convenience the old drive had Windows on it, which I never use. It was also a 1TB and this is for a system that will run my family media server, I have more images / pictures / home videos and so on than would fit on a 1tb. I have put in an 8TB hard drive and it works great. Perfect part for the perfect use.As always Dell has some great designs for moving stuff around.

I was working on a friend's PC and it did not have a caddy for an additional hard drive. I ordered this caddy and it worked perfectly. This will not fit all Dell computers, but after research this was the correct caddy.

Having recently rebuilt a PC with 500Gb nvme drive, I wanted to add additional storage and I was missing this article to properly insert the second 16 Tb hard drive. As described, fits perfectly on the internal PC support...
