This almost fits the Amprobe TMD-56. It isn't a perfect fit as the connector is slightly too large, but the shape is tapered so it can be plugged in about 50% and will remain secure if you don't knock it. Some of the other generic Chinese probes have overly large square plugs which don't fit an Amprobe at all. Temperature takes a few seconds to stabilise and is much slower than my more expensive probes.

The two K type thermocouples were exactly as described, delivery was fast

I doubt the plastic will tolerate anywhere near this probes advertised range, showing the sheen of recently melted plastic with dark singe marks in a domestic oven incapable of going higher than 200c, set to 170, reading as 167. The melt is not just at contact points, like where touching the door.For most things I need, they seem accurate enough, just reluctant to use it towards the top of its stated range.Will probably not get this one again.
