Works. Perfectly when baking, keeps all the dust in the bowl area instead of having a coat of icing sugar over everything

This has changed my life. I was looking for something completely different when the search threw this up. Where has it been all my life! I have been batch cooking tomato and curry sauces for years without knowing this gadget exised. What kind of fool was I? - a fool with stains all over the kitchen and my clothing that's what kind of fool but not anymore (well - not new stains anyway). The silicone flange flaps discoloured immediately, fairly unsurprisingly, despite bicarbonate of soda but I just live with that (who cares!!).

This is perfectly adequate. It’s a good size so can be used on various size mixing bowls. Easy to use and to clean. Would recommend

Very happy with this, exactly what I was expecting. I only have a hand blender and this stops it spraying everywhere! You do have to hold it in place (obviously) but does the trick.

At the time of writing this review, I have had the splash guard for more than 5 months.I have used it every week when I churn my own butter.When the cream separates into butter & buttermilk it gets very messy and without a suitable guard, half my kitchen would be caught in the fallout.This splash guard has been an essential item in my butter making journey. Something that I would recommend for anyone looking to use a hand held electric mixer.An unexpected bonus is that I can rest my hand mixer on the splash guard and let it take most of the weight, definitely a help when you're churning 3 or 4 pots of cream in a batch. This only works when using a deep mixing bowl though.
