After trying several other RXB6 receivers sold on Amazon I finally found one that work properly.Reception is ok if you use an external antenna of correct length (approx 16.5 cm if you use a simple solid wire connected to ANT-pin).The reception is improved if you connect a wire of the same length to the GND-pin next to the ANT-pin and the wire is 180 degrees opposite the antenna wire. This makes a simple dipole.To minimize noise from the SBC you're using (Pi, Arduino, ESP, etc.) you can use decoupling capacitors in parallell between VCC and GND on the module. Place the capacitors as close as possible to the RXB6 module.I use the following values:100 nF ceramic (closest to the module)0.47uF (electrolytic)10 uF (electrolytic)Pay attention to the polarity of the electrolytic capacitors!To sum it up;This module work ok for 433 Mhz projects. I've not tested how long range you can squeeze out of this module since I'm using it for home automation stuff, but placed indoors I can receive sporadic data from sensors placed up to 200m away and reliably from sensors placed 30m away (through several walls).
