A good teapot for loose tea but lots smaller in size. Worth looking at size of it to make sure it’s what you need especially if you like bigger cups of tea.Looks different having a brown clay look to it. No marks as such under it giving info on how to clean etc.Four stars as comes well packaged and different looking but bit too pricey in my opinion as lots of choices of these types of teapots to look at.

Ich habe mir die Teekanne bestellt weil sie so süß aussah und war dann aber doch überrascht wie klein sie ist. Ich benutze sie tatsächlich nur als Deco-Objekt und werde eine kleine Pflanze dort reinmachen. Sie funktioniert aber sicherlich auch gut zum Tee-trinken (wenn man so kleine mengen tee machen möchte, was ich persönlich etwas unsinnig finde).

Las teteras de Yising son famosas por sus cualidades, y ahora que tengo experiencia, puedo decir que es cierto, el té no sabe igual usando esta cafetera, sin duda, es mejor que usando otro tipo de recipiente.

It does come with a smell inside the teapot when first open the box, with couples of running hot water though the teapot, the smell goes away.This is the first teapot I have with this type of clay, I think it is very cool.It is great to play inside of the hands. It also comes with a rope, the lid won't fall when pouring the tea.It has seal marks under and inside the wall of the teapot and on the inside of the lid.

It's the perfect size to brew just enough to fill a single teacup. It's more of a darker purplish clay in person compared to the more reddish-looking clay in the pictures but the difference is small enough not to bother me. It pours neatly with minimal spills. It doesn't have a weird chemical smell or a sticky coating on it that I've heard some cheap yixing pots can have. I'm somewhat doubtful that this is completely handmade at this price point but honestly, all I care about is that it's functional and looks cute.
