Endlich mal ein Barcode-Scanner mit einem austauschbaren Akku. Man kann ihn sogar mitten im Betrieb auswechseln, um später mal aufzuladen. Die Anzeige der Batterieladung finde ich gut gemacht. Einziges Problem: Für den Tausch der Batterie braucht man einen Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher. Das habe ich erst mitbekommen, als ich das Gerät in Händen hielt. Ich fände eine simple Verriegelung praktischer. So muss ich den Schraubendreher in greifbarer Nähe aufbewahren. Es wäre nett, wenn man den Schraubendreher der Dockingstation entnehmen könnte.Zum Abschalten gibt es eine sehr praktische Verriegelung. So kann man Energie sparen, wenn der Scanner nicht in Betrieb ist.In der Verpackung lag dem Scanner ein USB-Dongle bei. Bei einer Computermaus oder Tastatur würde der Dongle im Gerät drin stecken. Am Scanner gibt es keinen solchen Steckplatz für die sichere Aufbewahrung. Warum eigentlich nicht? Das wäre doch mega-praktisch.Der Barcode-Scanner unterstützt drei Verbindungsmodi: Bluetooth, USB-Verbindung (das finde ich doch klasse!) und 2,4 GHz-Drahtlosmodus. Man hat also die Wahl den Modus zu verwenden, der am besten in den eigenen Workflow passt. In jedem dieser drei Modi verbindet er sich problemlos und funktioniert einfach. Und weil er einfach auf Anhieb funktioniert, setzt sich dieser Tera Pro-Barcode-Scanner positiv von anderen Modellen ab, wo man eine Menge Zeit mit der Konfiguration verbringen muss. Trotz der Kritikpunkte insgesamt ein geiles Teil. Der beste Barcodescanner, den ich bisher hatte.

Der Scanner ist sehr gut verarbeitet und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Er funktioniert tadellos über Bluetooth, WiFi und kabelgebunden über USB. Sehr schnell bei der Erkennung von 1D, 2D und QR Codes auch bei weiten Entfernungen (getestet bei bis zu 8 Metern). Ich bin begeistert und vergebe 5 Sterne

The Tera Pro Barcode Scanner with Power Switch Battery Level Indicator Replaceable Battery Wall Mountable Stand is an impressive package.I test a lot of barcode scanners. I am in the point-of-sale business so we are constantly looking for quality units that don’t bust the bank.While not what I would call a budget scanner, this unit, out of the box performed well. I am giving it my full approval. So many of the scanners we get work pretty good but lack the polish of well finished programming clear concise documentation and just plain working out of the box. Tera does it all without any hitches.Broke it out of the box, flipped the switch and turned it on plugged it in with the USB-to-USB C cable and it scanned, and scanned well. It is pretty fast. Then I plugged in the 2.4 RF dongle, boom, it worked without any fuss or fiddling. That is what I like. Same with the Bluetooth. Simple to pair and simple to use.Another great feature is a well laid out manual with all the explanations and barcodes someone is going to need to get things going. I could go on an on with all the scanners we have been testing that were pretty good but had bad documentation and sketchy programming. Polished and well-done is what comes to mind for me with the Tera.If you are inexperienced with scanners, you can’t go wrong with this unit. This is one of the better ones we have tested lately. It is going to go to one of our lucky customers because I am confident it will do the trick.It comes with a stand. There is a lot of love hate with those things. This stand is very well made and has provisions for wall-mounting. One should note that the screws for putting the stand together are already on the flexible metal rod that goes inside the flexible plastic cover for it. I was looking for the screws and noticed them there.Some nice well-thought-out features: Vibration, almost like haptic feedback. It can be turned on or off by scanning barcodes, same with adjusting the volume, amount of time unit stays on, and you can set it to always be on (we like that for retail stores). Also, if you want to connect it with Bluetooth you need to scan the barcodes to put it in pairing mode. Don’t try to use 2.4 RF and Bluetooth at the same time.Final thoughts: This is one of the best handheld barcode scanners we have recently tested. It has superior documentation. Superior connectivity. Superior build quality and is an overall fine product. I am the first to complain about these scanners, yet with this unit I have no complaints. Everything you need in a scanner. Nothing you don’t need and it all works. Great Job!

The Tera Pro Barcode Scanner with Power Switch has some nice features. The power-saving on/off switch, the battery life indicator, and the ability to switch between corded and cordless seem especially useful. I was able to set it to scan a specific type of barcode, advance to the next line, and scan while on a stand fairly easily. Installation was plug-and-play with no issues.One really nice aspect is that it can be used to manually scan with a trigger or set on the stand for the always on scanning feature without the user scanning any software codes to toggle between the features. The stand is stable, sturdy, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally.The scanner needs to be functional in many different programs in my department to work effectively and while it worked in most, it failed at our most important one. This key piece of software doesn't work with an enter key, it advances to the next field with a down arrow. The scanner doesn't have an equivalent command for the down arrow, so it's not functional with this piece of software. Other scanner brands do, so this was a disappointment. This software application is industry-specific and not going to be found in an office or warehouse, so this is probably not going to be an issue for other users.This is not a cheap scanner, but with its 1D and 2D capabilities, corded or cordless utility, and included stand, I feel the scanner is worth the asking price.

I love Tera. Saves me so much time VS typing! We have the Tera 1 scanner, so figured I'd give this one a go as well.Would've been 5 stars but my 1½ main issues are:Even after it's setup to be silent / on vibrate mode, it still screams "BEEP" when it's initially turned on and woken up to start scanning. (It's pretty loud)I skimmed the instruction booklet pretty quick, but couldn't find anything on this topic to turn it off.My other older Tera 1 scanner does not beep on startup. So maybe there's a setting hidden deep in the manual that can be changed so it's fully quiet. Not sure yet.My other half-issue is that the clear front window piece was installed upside down on my scanner. Not sure if all are like this or if it was a one-off mistake.It's not impeding any scanning functions, so it doesn't matter. Just looks kinda goofy.It also says "Barcode Scanner" printed on the upside down front plastic piece - Like: Well yeah. Isn't that pretty obvious? hahaI might try to take it apart and flip the plastic window piece around, or black it out with a marker. No big deal.Anyways, it still works perfectly as-is and scans & transfers data fast right out of the box just like it should, so I'm cool with it overall 👌🏼

Die Einrichtung war unkompliziert – ich habe es innerhalb von Sekunden über Bluetooth verbunden und es funktionierte reibungslos. Die Scangeschwindigkeit ist beeindruckend und erfasst sowohl 1D- als auch 2D-Barcodes sofort, selbst wenn sie leicht beschädigt sind oder sich auf reflektierenden Oberflächen befinden. Der Ein-/Ausschalter und die Batterieanzeige sind kleine Details, die einen großen Unterschied machen, insbesondere bei langen Schichten. Eine Funktion, die ich wirklich schätze, ist die austauschbare Batterie. Ich hatte zuvor kabellose Scanner, die nutzlos wurden, sobald die Batterie leer war, aber bei diesem kann ich sie einfach austauschen und weitermachen. Der mitgelieferte Wandständer ist eine weitere nette Sache – er hält meinen Arbeitsplatz organisiert und ermöglicht das Scannen bei Bedarf freihändig. Das Umschalten zwischen Bluetooth, 2,4G-Funk und USB-Kabelmodus ist mühelos, was beim Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen Setups großartig ist. Nachdem ich ihn täglich verwendet habe, kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen, dass sich dieser Scanner lohnt. Er ist schnell, zuverlässig und langlebig. Ich hatte null Verbindungsprobleme und die Scangenauigkeit ist erstklassig. Wenn Sie nach einem Scanner suchen, der Sie nicht im Stich lässt, ist dieser eine solide Wahl.

Ich habe den Tera Pro Barcode-Scanner für meinen kleinen Laden gekauft, um die Bestandsaufnahme und Kassenvorgänge schneller und effizienter zu gestalten. Besonders überzeugt hat mich der erweiterte Ein-/Ausschalter, der es mir ermöglicht, den Scanner bei Bedarf schnell auszuschalten, um die Akkulaufzeit zu maximieren. Das spart mir einiges an Ladezeit, da der Scanner dank der austauschbaren Batterie bis zu 30 Tage durchhält – ein echter Pluspunkt, vor allem bei längeren Arbeitstagen.Die Konnektivität über Bluetooth, 2.4G Wireless und USB funktioniert tadellos. Egal, ob ich den Scanner mit meinem PC oder Smartphone verbinde, die Verbindung ist stabil und schnell. Die Reichweite von 100 Metern bei freier Sicht und 35 Metern mit Hindernissen ist mehr als ausreichend für den Einsatz in meinem Geschäft. Auch das Scannen von 1D- und 2D-Codes, inklusive QR-Codes, geht blitzschnell und präzise.Was mir besonders gefällt, ist der wandmontierbare Ständer. Dieser bietet mir die Möglichkeit, den Scanner an einem festen Ort zu montieren, was bei der Arbeit mit mehreren Mitarbeitern sehr praktisch ist. Der Ständer hat auch eine kleine Ablage, die für Zubehör oder kleine Teile genutzt werden kann.Allerdings gibt es auch zwei kleinere Punkte, die ich anmerken möchte: Der Scanner ist etwas größer als erwartet, was die Handhabung für längere Einsätze etwas weniger bequem macht. Zudem könnte die Batterieanzeige etwas präziser sein, da sie hin und wieder erst spät anzeigt, dass der Akku zur Neige geht.Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel ist der Tera D6100 eine zuverlässige Wahl für alle, die auf der Suche nach einem vielseitigen Barcode-Scanner für den täglichen Einsatz sind!

Der Tera Pro Bar-code-Scanner hat sich als eine gute Wahl erwiesen. Er ist klein, leicht und einfach zu bedienen. Er er-fasst sowohl 1D- als auch 2D-Barcodes (QR-Codes) schnell und zuverlässig. Der Scanner verfügt über eine austauschbare Batterie und eine Batterieanzeige. Er kann sowohl kabellos (Bluetooth und 2,4G) als auch kabelgebunden (USB) verwendet werden. Ein tolles Produkt für alle, die einen vielseitigen und zuverlässigen Barcode-Scanner suchen.

This is my first barcode scanner and I got it because I'm trying to (finally) get my business up and running. But, wow, do I have a lot of materials I need to categorize. I figured it might be helpful to start using barcodes or QR codes and I decided on QR codes then got this.Set up was super easy. I just plugged it in, really. They have you open Notepad and scan something to try it out - bam! It popped up. I was probably happier than I should have been about that, and when I found out that basically the entire booklet they send you are QR codes for different functions and inputs this scanner can use (it was a LOT, I didn't look at all of them). I scanned a few of them of them and this thing is lightning quick. You barely have time to cover the whole code with the bar.Also, one of the other reasons I chose this was because it came with it's own holder, which I love,. It fits in there nicely and securely, looks pretty great, works amazingly and (I would say) is a decent price for the whole package. I will say this, though, you probably don't want to drop this thing on, like, anything. I've always assumed these things were a bit weighty, but this has the lightness of a child's toy. So that was surprising, but not a deal breaker.Overall, I'm super happy with this and I've been racing through my inventory creating QR codes to use (and not just for fun!).

I got this to scan my enormous old CD collection using online databases to see how much I could sell them for. Short answer: not much. But as someone who has never used a barcode scanner before, I was impressed by how easy this one was to set up and use.Right out of the box, it just worked. I plugged it in with the USB cable, and it scanned instantly. Then I tried the 2.4GHz wireless dongle—same thing, no fuss. Bluetooth was just as easy to set up by scanning a barcode in the manual. Speaking of which, the manual is surprisingly helpful, with clear instructions and barcodes to adjust settings like volume, scan mode, and even turning on vibration feedback.The scanner itself feels well-made—lightweight but solid. The battery lasts a long time, and the battery level indicator is a nice touch. It also comes with a stand that can be mounted to a wall, though I just set it on my desk.As for performance, it’s fast and reliable. It scanned every barcode I tried without hesitation, even ones that were a little worn or hard to read. I didn’t have to line things up perfectly or scan multiple times—it just worked.For what I needed—a simple, reliable scanner that I could use without having to figure out a bunch of complicated settings—this was perfect.
