There's a lot here that seems appealing - fewer warp threads to deal with right off the bat is an immense selling point, but there's several enormously critical flaws that, ultimately, make this loom a bit of a trap and borderline useless.First and foremost, because the wrap threads wrap around bars of some thickness (which I'll add to shortly) there will ALWAYS be slack along the length of your piece. If you're doing a small piece you will not be able to do anything about it - for larger pieces you'll have dangling ends and bad tension. What frustrates me most about this is the instructions for the loom simply say that "it won't affect your project." Oh, okay.. It won't? Well it does, 100%. The only solution I could possibly see would be to start at the middle and pull each end taut to tighten up the opposite end and work outwards, but there's several issues there - the biggest is that if anything messes up, frays, or gets caught, the entire project is ruined, as you can't do this until the very end.The 'rods' are a bit flexible but, ultimately, flimsy - they bent and strain to get even any amount of decent tension and this warps your project itself. Similarly the middle warp threads I could never get any good tension on while the outermost were too taut trying to get it.The setup is horrible if you're doing a project with more than 6 or 7 warp threads. I did a 15 across and it took me several hours to get it all setup, partially on account of having to redo it a few times because the tension would slip and the threads would get overlapped and out of order.. In all the time I wasted setting it up I could have just dealt with the extra warp threads. I can't honestly say I felt like I saved any time or effort and, if anything, it only added frustration. The bars also have no notches or anything which makes the warp threads very prone to slipping at first, especially because the tension is so hard to get in the first place. The second issue with the warp threads is that your length has to be EXACT or you get tons of extra slack in your warps, exactly as above but worse, and you have to be precise from the start. If you're off by one row of beads? One entire row of slack you can't get rid of. It's atrocious to need that level of precision from the first second of your project or else the entire thing is ruined. The idea is here, and maybe if you used larger beads or were doing projects for kids or something this would be fine, and I won't pretend like I'm a professional, but I don't want the stuff I spend hours on looking awful because there's dangling threads and loose warps that "won't affect" my project. The idea is great but it just doesn't work at all.

It’s ok to set up APART from the little rubber caps holding the warp rods in place. THEY JUST FALL OFF! The slightest movement and they’re gone, which means the rods fall out and your project is over! I’ve had the loom about 10 minutes and lost 2 caps already! Something really needs doing about these as it’s practically unusable :( ***EDIT ALL THE WND CAPS HAVE FALLEN OFF AND THE PRODUCT ISN’T USEABLE

It’s small, but well worth what it’s used for. The only flaw is the 4 little rubber stopper ends that are meant to hold the tiny metal rods in place. They don’t. They pop right back off. So, before I lost the stopper ends, I applied a couple generous drops of rubber glue on each end of rods & allowed to completely dry. This gave the stoppers something to bite onto which solved the issue of slipping off.

I love how easy to thread. It makes beading fun and relaxing. I have both the sizes.
