This mallet was bought for a specific purpose, to remove four slot-in metal shelf runners from a storage unit. My existing 0.5KG mallet just bounced off the metal runners & made my ears ring. A couple of whacks from "Thor" & the shelf runners were removed & I could finish the job of re-sizing the shelf.Basically, who wouldn't want a mallet named "Thor"!!?

Only one thing is it's out of balance the handle is Small for the size of head. It's top heavey, you'll never get full energy transfer, other wise it's good.

All round good rubber hammer, surprising how much it don’t bounce from impacting.Good strong build, don’t seem like the hammer end will ever slip dawn the handle.Worth the money!

I'm using this to build up no-screw shelving. It's heavy enough to do the job and small enough to get into tight spaces. It feels pretty solid and I'm sure it will last for years.

The mallet is made of great materials, but the handle is too slim in regard of the relatively heavy head, this exerts too much stress on the wrist unless u hold the mallet close to its head, which I think it s impractical ...!
