All in all, it is a pretty good kit!The small hammer works quite well.The little snips don’t work very well.There are plenty of extra nails.Maybe try switching the colors around: the black doesn’t show up great on the background.The instructions give you a starting point, but can’t be relied upon. To make the patterns even, you need to go completely around, while the instructions say to go around a half time every time.Make sure the nails are in well as they can pop out later and ruin a good thing.It is a quick project, only about one hour.Includes mounting hardware for hanging or standing up on a table so you can display it various ways.It would be nice if they included a different color string than black which doesn’t show up against the black background and if the frame were a bit more frame-like instead of rounded border kind of thing, but all in all a decent set, albeit very pricey for what it is.*Note*Vine reviewers are invited to select products on offer which Amazon then sends for free. Instructions are not clear nor complete. There is not seller nor manufacturer information so I can't contact anyone to try to get more information. I have the nails in place but can't even figure out how to start the stringing.

I would NOT recommend this product! We have put countless of hours - mostly of frustration - into this project! We have tried nailing in the nails multiple times using different hammers. They feel like they are in well, but after we start stringing, one will randomly come loose. We were 5/8 through stringing when one nail from section 4 came out. We had to undo both sections 4 and 5 at that point. We started restringing section 4 when a nail from section 2 came out. It was supposed to be a fun activity for my 11 year old, but it has caused endless frustration instead!

This was such a complete kit! I was able to open the box and get to work immediately, which was great since I got this with one week to spare for a Christmas gift exchange. I was able to get this done in two nights after work and it was so much fun to do! The person I gave it to has it hanging above their bed and has told me multiple times how much they love it. I forgot to get pictures after I was done though *sad face* Regardless, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍😁👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a new crafting try for me and it was fun and easy to do. The kit comes with everything that you need. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I did read other reviews and took the advice of adding glue to hold the knots. I used some fabric glue instead of super glue. It takes a bit more time to dry but it worked well too. It was definitely one of those crafty things that lets you forget what is going on in your life for a little while. It also looks beautiful when done and makes for a great decoration!
