I have to say the TIBO TI435 tuner is excellent, for the current price it's a no brainer if you are in the market for a new piece of hi-fi. Size wise its exactly as most hi-fi separates and fits perfectly into my setup. DAB+ reception can be a bit hit a miss where we live but after its initial scan for stations all worked as it should, all perfectly clear and all stations present as they should be. FM reception is much better than my previous tuner, no hiss or any sound issue with either DAB or FM. Looks wise it's nice too not fussy and the large tuner button in the middle of the unit can be set to glow in three separate colours too!!. Overall a brilliant bit of British kit.

This product is great value for the money. The reception of DAB and FM radio stations is very good.

È un apparecchio che va capito nella sua logica ma non è facile. Nell'accezione il sintonizzatore non manda subito il segnale audio all'amplificatore, bisogna spegnerlo e riattivarlo tramite pressione sulla manopola. Oppure si accende direttamente dal telecomando. A volte perde la memoria delle stazioni ma questo avviene perché inavvertitamente nel cambiate stazione radio si indugia per qualche secondo di troppo. Una volta capiti i suoi limiti progettuali il sintonizzatore fa il suo dovere e onestamente guardando il prezzo tali défaillance ci possono stare.

Il n'y a plus beaucoup de tuner hi-fi sur le marché. Donc pas trop le choix. Celui-là est correct. Assez compact.Chez moi à Paris, sa réception FM est assez mauvaise. La réception Dab est en revanche très bonne.Les informations sur l'artiste-chanson apparaissent en mode Dab.Il y a 9 préselections possibles en FM et 9 en DAB.La télécommande permet de changer de station ou de bande FM/DAB mais pas de modifier le volume.Lorsqu'on change de station, l'écran s’allume pendant une 30aine de secondes puis se met en veilleuse.Personnellement il répond à mes besoins même si je regrette qu'il n'y ait que 9 préselections par bande.

Von Anfang an nur Ärger mit diesem Gerät - ich habe es mittlerweile bereits 3 Mal bei Amazon auf Garantie umgetauscht. Der Umtausch erfolgte jeweils reibungslos und sehr schnell. Das neue Gerät stellte sich jedes Mal als die gleiche Katastrophe wie das vorhergehende dar. Hier eine Übersicht über die aufgetretenen Fehler:1. Gerät: Läßt sich nicht richtig einschalten - Ton kommt nur bei jedem zweiten Einschaltvorgang, ansonsten geht das Gerät zwar an (Display), nach dem Tuning gibt es im Lautsprecher nur einen Knacks und es kommt weiterhin kein Ton mehr. Der Empfang aller 49 verfügbaren Programme war bei diesem Gerät gut.2. Gerät: Läßt sich zwar richtig einschalten, allerdings ist der Empfang von 13 der 49 verfügbaren Programme nur stotternd mit ständigen Aussetzern.3. Gerät: Läßt sich nicht richtig einschalten (wie bei Gerät 1). Die 13 der 49 Programme, die von Gerät 2 nur sehr schlecht empfangen wurden, werden hier im Sendersuchlauf erst gar nicht gefunden.4. Gerät: Läßt sich teilweise nicht richtig einschalten (wie bei Gerät 1) - mal geht es richtig, mal nicht. Die 13 Programme werden zwar nach mehreren Durchläufen im Sendersuchlauf gefunden, beim Umschalten auf eines dieser Programme erscheint im Display allerdings nur die Meldung und somit kein Empfang.Allgemein: Bei allen Geräten gemeinsam traten folgende Mängel auf:- Werden die Stationstasten am Gerät zum Umschalten auf einen der 9 abgespeicherten Sender länger als 1 sek. gedrückt (in der Anleitung steht 2 sek.), wird der Programmplatz bereits mit dem aktuell laufenden Sender überschrieben.- Das Display schaltet sich auch bei eingeschaltetem Gerät nach ca. 30 sek. nach dem letzten Bedienvorgang in den Standby-Modus zurück und ist dann so dunkel, daß es bei normalen Beleuchtungsverhältnissen nur noch aus nächster Nähe abgelesen werden kann.Ich werde das nunmehr 4. Gerät zurückschicken und zu einem anderen Hersteller wechseln - nie mehr Tibo!

I bought this to replace a 25 year old Sony FM tuner and a 18 year old VideoLogic (Pure) DRX-601 DAB tuner.The TIBO tuner looks smart enough and is very simple to operate, from the front panel and/or through the remote control. The sound quality on DAB is noticeably better than my previous tuner - but then it was a first generation DAB tuner. The sound quality on FM is good too, but possibly not as good as my previous Sony tuner. Unexpectedly, it talks to you with a synthesised voice when changing waveband and switching in and out of standby.So, why will I only give it four stars? Well at first, I found this tuner to be remarkably insensitive for a modern device. I couldn't receive anything on FM or DAB with the wire aerial supplied in the box. When connected to my 4 element FM aerial in the loft, FM reception is adequate, but no more. When connected to my 3 element DAB aerial in the loft, the reception was good enough for a mostly burble-free sound, but the signal strength indicator still didn't get near maximum. I tried swapping my aerial lead for another one, in case that was at fault, but it made no difference.After a few weeks of listening to burbling DAB and hissing FM, I was ready to contact TIBO and ask about returning the unit, but before I did, I though I'd better make a few electrical checks. I had a look inside the unit. Don't do this unless you are a qualified electronics engineer! (I am.) I found that the aerial socket (an F-connector) was connected to a front-end module via some very thin coaxial cable. (See picture.) I tested the continuity between the centre pin of the connector and the module and found it open-circuit. I decided to do a quick experiment and temporarily connect my aerial directly to the front-end module using a separate piece of coax. The difference was amazing! The DAB reception was burble-free on all stations - even ones I couldn't get before. And the FM reception was strong and hiss-free. I then removed the original F-connector and cable and replaced it with a new connector and piece of coax I had in my workshop, re-assembled the unit and it's working very well. Of course, I will have voided the warranty, but that was my choice.I now think that it is a very good tuner. What a shame that TIBO aren't testing them thoroughly enough before they leave the factory.Update: After two years, the unit is still working well, but I have recently discovered a shortcoming of the design - when doing a DAB Full Scan (or a Factory Reset) it will only detect the first 100 stations and then stops. This wasn't a problem until some new multiplexes were introduced in my area and now there are more than 100 stations potentially available. Unfortunately the BBC National DAB multiplex is one of the last multiplexes to be scanned and now it stops before getting that far. I either have to use manual tuning to select that multiplex or I have to unplug the aerial when starting a scan and plug it back in before it gets as far as scanning the BBC National DAB multiplex.

Alles Bestens,super Geraet. Dab pluss sehr sauber. was mir nicht so gut gefaellt,das wenn man das geraet uber fernbedienungg ausmacht,das der tuning Regler beleuchtet bleibt. kann ja nicht jedesmal den Musikturm abziehen,um hinten am geraet den netzschalter ein oder aus zuschalten. ansonsten ist das geraet Tadellos,und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. gerne wieder wenn neue Anschaffungen anstehen.

Macht in Gesamtanlage gute Musik, Klang.

Ansich ist der DAB/FM Tuner ganz gut.Preis-Leistung passt allerdings nicht so wirklich.Die Antenne darf man nicht zu fest drehen, sonst bekommt man kein Signal.Man kann bis zu 9 Sender in den „Kurzwahltasten“ programmierenUnd eine von 3 Farben (Rot/Blau/Grün) einstellen.Man bekommt 2 Netzstecker (EU/US), eine Fernbedienung und 2 Batterien dazu.Wichtig: man benötigt zwingend ein Verstärker o.Ä., damit man etwas davon hat.Fazit: schneller Sendersuchlauf, guter Klang (bei den Angeschlossenen Komponenten), für die Verarbeitung allerdings zu teuer, für das Geld bekommt man besseres.Aber es funktioniert und tut was es soll.

Ein Gerät für das es keine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung gibt sollte nicht zum Kauf freigegeben werden.
