Ich habe den Essenschutz für mein Baby gekauft, in der Hoffnung, dass es hilft, das Essen nicht auf den Boden zu werfen. Leider erfüllt das Produkt nicht ganz die Erwartungen. Die Breite ist nicht ausreichend, sodass das Essen seitlich noch geworfen werden kann. Zudem gelangt das Essen zwischen den Stuhl und den Rücken des Babys, was ebenfalls problematisch ist. Für den Preis hätte ich eine bessere Funktionalität erwartet. Leider bin ich insgesamt nicht zufrieden.

They don’t understand. So get this so you can have an easy clean up. We went from a lot of food on the floor to just a tiny bit on the floor. We keep a floor mat out of abundance of caution,

Bei uns war das Problem, dass das Essen immer zwischen Tisch und Lätzchen runterfiel und viele Flecken verursachte. Das ist mit diesem Lätzchen behoben.Leider ist das Lätzchen schon undicht.... wenn es was saftiges gibt wie Tomate/Beeren und co drückts durchs Lätzchen auf die Kleider durch und gibt unschöne Flecken... wir ziehen jetzt halt immer noch ein zweites Stofflätzchen drunter.Gewaschen haben wirs nur von Hand.Schade! Sonst wären wir sehr zufrieden...Update: TidyTod hat mich einen Monat nach meiner ursprünglichen Rezension konraktiert und mir das undichte Lätzchen ersetzt, obwohl die Rückgabefrist abgelaufen war. Viele Dank!Nun sind wir voll und ganz zufrieden.

Funktioniert sehr gut für unser Baby.Leider ist eine Naht nicht gut verarbeitet.Ein Kontakt mit dem Verkäufer ist nicht möglich, ich habe bloß die Möglichkeit, das ganze Produkt zurückzugeben, was ich aber nicht möchte, da wir es jeden Tag nutzen...Es wäre schön, eine kleine Kompensation zu bekommen.

Sia la pettorina che il copri tavolino sono molto belli e di ottimi materiali. Per usare il velcro basta togliere la striscia di protezione lato pettorina e rimetterla quando si lava in lavatrice

Leider ist die Ware bei uns bereits benutzt und übel stinkend angekommen..Ein No-Go…Ging direkt in die Tonne und bekam das Geld zurück.

Dieses Produkt macht genau das, was es soll - es hält das Baby, zumindest unterhalb vom Hals - sauber! 😄Installation am Stuhl ist sehr simpel und wirklich von jedem umsetzbar!Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, super passend und durch den Klettverschluss auch sehr sicher!Sehr zu empfehlen!

This is awsome.Even if you don't do baby led weaning but let your kid touch his food or try and hold the spoon by himself, this is the best product you can get.Flying cups, plates and spoons are in 95% of the cases caught by the tray in part due to its raised rims but also due to its huge size.We have a Hauck beta (alpha move) chair with the additional plastic tray insert and we had to remove the plastic tray from hauck because the hauck plastic tray is shallow and therefore with the tidy tot tray on top, dishes and glass get a bit unstable. The suction cup from the tidy tot tray that can be used on the back of the chair also didn't stick to our hauck wood chair.What we do is have the hauck chair without any tray next to our normal wood table and have the tidy tot tray be half (the front half) on top of our normal table.One must say that the suction cups from the tidy tot tray also didn't stick to our (untreated) wood table so we removed the suction cups (easy to cut them because they are attached with a plastic wire).In any case if you to use the suction cups there will be bumps on the tody tot tray on top of the suction cups so the surface gets a bit unstable for plates and glasses...Another (huge) disadvantage is that you can't use suction plates or bowls. The best I could find so far was the crab plate from future founders that is big and heavy. In any case our baby can easily lift the plate.The baby can also lift the tidy tot tray but it doesn't really cause any damage (mess) because he has the bib on which is attached to the tray so he can't move the tray much.So in summary, it's not perfect and there is definitely room for improvement, but it's still the best there is and I definitely find it a must have for us. We have a total of 3 bibs and I'm about to buy one more.The bibs are easy to wash in the machine.Our system is:1) remove the dirty bib from the tray2) clean with a wet wipe or a disinfection wipe the velcro stripe from the tray3) remove the protecting velcro stripe from the washed bib and put it on the dirty bib4) turn dirty bib inside out and fasten the neck velcro (so that it doesn't stick to the other laundry)5) attach clean bib to tray6) put dirty bib to wash together with the remaining baby laundryWe do a mix of baby led weaning and spoon feeding and it gets veeeeerrrryyy messy, like there was a food fight mixed with small lakes of water. Both the tray, the bib, the baby's face and hands get pretty disgusting.However with the tidy tot tray it's very rare that something lands on the floor. We don't even have a dirt mat on the floor, it really isn't necessary.The raised rims of the tray even catch water and other liquids.Another thing we do is use a small (waterproof) fabric bib underneath the tidy tot bib because, when we don't, the baby's clothes get dirty (on the collar only) because the water (mixed with food) falls through the collar of the tidy tot bib so having a fabric bib underneath gives an extra layer of protection, absorbs the liquid and keeps the baby's clothes intact.I can't imagine our life without the tidy tot. We would be constantly cleaning floor, putting baby clothes to wash and having to bathe the baby after every meal...The tray is also relatively easy to clean. I rarely wash it in the sink. What I do is first remove the food with kitchen paper or tissues and then clean the tray with a desinfection wipe. So far I could remove all the stains like this.The bib has to be replaced (in our case) pretty often, depending on what the meal is and whether there is water involved (sometimes the baby manages to drink without making a lot of mess, other times not).In short: it's awsome but I wish the material would allow suction plates to stick on it

Also wir wollen unsere Tochter nach dem Baby-led weaning-Verfahren an das Essen heranführen. Das bedeutet eine Menge Gematschte. Unser Hochstuhl hat leider keinen Tisch. Da kam mir dieses Mega-Lätzchen sehr praktisch vor. Und ich muss sagen: Das ist es auch! Es ist zwar nicht günstig, aber es spart sehr viel Zeit und Nerven. So macht nicht nur unserer Tochter das Matschen Spaß, sondern auch uns Eltern

Vor der Anschaffung des Tidy Tot mussten wir unser Kind jedesmal nach dem Essen komplett umziehen und Hochstuhl und Boden gründlich abwischen. Auch mit Tidy Tot bedeutet es nicht, dass kein Essen mehr auf dem Boden landet, aber es ist deutlich weniger und auf dem Kind landet so gut wie gar nichts mehr.Das Lätzchen ist anfangs recht steif, nach ein paar mal abwaschen wird es weicher. Die Waschmaschine tut dem Lätzchen jedoch nicht gut, bei uns ist zwar nichts gerissen, aber die Beschichtung innen löst sich leicht. Besser ist es, das Lätzchen nach Gebrauch sofort mit klarem Wasser und etwas Spülmittel abzuspülen und nur selten in die Waschmaschine zu geben. Nach 3 Monaten etwa habe ich ein Ersatzlätzchen gekauft, aber nach täglichem Gebrauch finde ich das in Ordnung. Das Lätzchen ist seperat erhältlich. An den Ärmeln sind Bünchen, damit sie nicht hochrutschen. Umkrempeln geht auch mit Bündchen problemlos. Für z.B. 6-Monate alte Kinder ist das Lätzchen sicherlich etwas groß, aber es soll ja lang passen und mit Umkrempeln ist das Problem auch schon gelöst.Das Tablett lässt sich problemlos abwischen und man kann es mit einem Band auch am Hochstuhl hinten anbinden oder mit Saugnapf befestigen, falls man einen Hochstuhl aus Plastik hat. Wir haben einen Holztisch, da kleben die Saugnäpfe leider gar nicht, aber meistens sieht unser Kind davon ab, das Tablett hochzureißen :-D.Alles in allem erspart uns der Tidy Tot viel Putzerei und wir würden es definitiv für BLW oder leidenschaftliche Esser weiterempfehlen :-).
