This is a very nice and well detailed desk cannon. My father is a huge civil war buff and growing up in that household if we took a family vacation it usually would be around some Civil war battlefield or historic landmark. I have an office space in my house and always wanted one of those desk cannons that I would see advertised in magazines and such. This fits that bill perfectly and is the perfect size. It is about 7 inches from the trail handle to the muzzle swell. The instructions say it's an operable cannon and to use 3f black powder or powder substitutes so long as its not smokeless. I have not fired this cannon yet but definitely will soon. The stainless steel gives this a nice luxury look to it. They have made the wheels with built in wheel chocks every inch and half to keep it from rolling off your desk or wherever you choose to display it which is nice. I wish they would have included some sort of rammer with it but I am still happy with the way it is and that I finally got one. Perfect display piece.
