Acheté pour servir de KVM switch entre un PC portable de travail et une tour perso, j'avais d'abord choisi un modèle non adapté aux PC portables et qui requérait de brancher un cable HDMI+DP entre le PC portable et le KVM switch (idem pour la tour)... sauf que le PC portable ne dispose que d'un port HDMIL'ancien vendeur m'a alors orienté vers le modèle vendu ici (et 2 fois plus cher) et effectivement c'est beaucoup mieux, tout passe par le port usb-c thunderbolt pour le PC portable, du coup plus besoin de soucier des câbles vidéo.J'enlève juste une étoile car le switch ne permet pas de charger le PC portable via le port thunderbolt, du coup il faut 2 prises électriques à proximité pour brancher la batterie et le switch (ou acheter un bloc de prises plus grand si vous avez déjà toutes les prises occupées).

Im Gegensatz zu einem ATEN-Switch CS1924 (trotz aktualisierter Firmware) , hat dieser Switch keine Probleme beim Umschalten des (Displayport-)Signals. Mit dem ATEN Switch hat der Rechner manchmal nach dem Umschalten nicht mitbekommen, dass der Monitor wieder sichtbar ist.

This covers a lot of ground for a two computer setup. It has both HDMI and DisplayPort ports, up to 3 monitors, and 4 USB-A ports. I use two for a keyboard and trackball and it's nice to have two additional ports anything else like a printer or a thumb drive, etc.It's nice having a separate control switch and an all metal housing, but I particularly like that it has it's own On/Off power switch. Many of the KVM switches don't include one.Everything has been working as designed.5 out of 5 stars.

This KVM is very useful to share resources which saves on cost. Once set up, it can share a set of monitor/keyboard/mouse with two computers seamlessly just on the press of a button. It is small, sturdy, and overall, very helpful. It functions pretty seamlessly for me. I use it with different systems and have no real issues. It also draws power from USB -- some have concerns about not having USB power, and depending on the systems you've attached it to, that might make a difference, but I haven't need the external 5V, and that's a plus. It supports monitors of up to 8K60Hz. However, make sure you have the compatible HDMI cable (not all HDMI cables are the same).There are some issues common for KVM systems, even older PS2/VGA systems, it's always the same sort of problem. The connected systems don't know what's going on and expect keyboard, mouse, and monitor to always be attached. However, this KVM can detect a keyboard or mouse without rebooting the computer. The only thing you need to do is adjust the sleep time for the computer, if the computer goes into sleep mode the switch will not wake it up, otherwise this is a great switch.Here are some highlights:Seamless Switching: The switch between my two computers is incredibly smooth and fast with just the press of a button. With this switch there is no trouble, no additional software required, works right out of the box. It is very easy to set up. The only thing I wish it had was a port for my 3.5mm audio plug for my desktop speakers. I can highly recommend this product without hesitation.
