This hose replaced the corroding original fuel-filler overflow hose on my 2000 Ford Excursion. After cleaning and lightly sanding the steel male nipple fitting on the filler neck and plastic nipple on the fuel tank, I applied some Sil-Glyde silicon lube and slid the new hose into place (had to lift the fuel tank into position before connecting to the filler neck part). You want to put the clamps on the nipples first, and then slide over the hose after it is in place.

Just as described on listing. I love the high quality and the durability. Very easy to cut down to size and install. Came with perfect amount of hose clamps. Not a single leak and absolutely no smell. Flexible enough to install without breaking or damaging. Very affordable replacement for classic cars with no OEM available. Sleek black nitrile makes the undercarriage look newer. Perfect fit on 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R.
